Our experience at Rim Rock was truly exceptional. From the moment we walked in, our waitress exuded warmth and hospitality, making us feel right at home. If you visit, do not miss out on their exquisite oysters; they are a true delight. Additionally, their lobster mashed potatoes stand out as one of the finest dishes in Whistler; it's a must-try. The ambiance of the restaurant is inviting and sets the perfect tone for a memorable evening, making it one of the highlights of our ski trip.

What an excellent meal. No wonder this is one of the top rated restaurants in Canada.!The server, Jason was knowledgeable, attentive, friendly, but not invasive or overbearing. Perfect.Recommendations were spot on.We started with mussels, which were pei, and probably the biggest mussels I've ever eaten. Just scrumptious and plump.We moved on to a ceviche (actually salted shellfish and regular fish but scrumptious ) and mushroom salad with greens and warm mushrooms topped with some fancy vinaigrette that was just yummy.We shared the ling cod, which is a very tender fish, but more firm like halibut in texture. Excellent flavor served with a delicious minty type sauce over rice.We finished with sticky toffee pudding with ice cream. I had to really hold back because it was just amazing.!What a pleasant surprise here in Whistler! Loved it!!!
Absolutely delightful dinner at Rimrock Cafe last night. The food was delicious, creative, and timed well. I enjoyed the Queen’s Gambit cocktail and a lovely French white blend wine sold by the glass. Dinner was the cauliflower appetizer, the special beet and chèvre appetizer, and main courses of Ling cod with mushroom risotto and butternut squash as well as the Seafood Trio. No room for dessert but I imagine they would have been great, too. Highly recommend this restaurant. It’s even an easy walk from the First Tracks Lodge at Whistler.

Exceptional experience at Rimrock! Definitely one of the best restaurants in Whistler. Understated but not overrated, the menu offers great options all around and will not leave you disappointed. It is expensive, but what restaurant worth its while in Whistler isn't. Outstanding in every way from the reception, taking the coats, the excellent service throughout from Anton. The food itself exquisite , this Resturant sets great standards. It was a bit noisy but not so bad as to be offensive! Will be back again.
Rimrock has it all: great food, outstanding service, and a cozy ambiance. We have been going there once a year for about 10 years and it's always a highlight of our annual visit to Whistler. I would recommend Rimrock to anyone who is visiting the Whistler area.

Came back to rimrock after eating here last year and had another fantastic meal. Trio of fish or meat are the standout entrees and the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Cosy atmosphere and very friendly and helpful staff. Will be back every year. Special mention to Kelly who was awesome and remembered us from last year.

Every dish was delicious- mussels in a jalapeño broth , seafood trio, pacific Ling and fillet Mignon all perfectly seasoned, plated beautifully and with excellent wine recommendations from our waiter. Great ambience in a cosy stone cottage dining room. Everything was perfect.
