just went there for dinner, three dishes for $50, food was alright. one of the dishes came with tempura, but no sauce so I asked for sauce, but was told that I would have to pay extra for the tempura sauce. First time that tempura is served without source in any restaurant I’ve been so far. Besides that, they insisted that I must pay for the sauce first before getting it.

No frills, affordable place to grab sushi in Whistler. We stopped here after our day at the spa.

I have ate here for years now and on a weekly basis. This year you can tell that they have been making small changes by reducing servings so it becomes the "norm" of what to expect to get. The main one being all Rolls Ive gotten in the last month have come with only 6. It doesnt matter if its a special or if I just order rolls you no longer get 8 which they are all advertised as. The kids Special comes with less tofu now as well and it advertises 5 piece's and you get 4 or even 3 Ive seen. The servings are much smaller for almost everything now as I also go to the Squamish location and see the servings they give out. I wish this was not the case but its disappointing... as nothing is as advertised on the website anymore.

The chicken in the $16 "teriyaki chicken box" was simply inedible. Small portion? Fine. Overpriced? Fine. This is a tourist town after all. But I draw the line at the chicken smelling and tasting like dog food. I couldn't eat the chicken, but ate the rice and side salad because I was starving. My sister got udon, which was fine. Rolls were small, but at least edible unlike the chicken teriyaki.
