I am pleased to report that approximately 160 Gregorian days later (ROUNDED, of course, to the nearest Julian day [and do excuse my arithmetic in case I have miscalculated]), I have returned to this absolute topaz of a place. Considering last visit's ethnic journey by dint of the fine teas offered, I decided that I must try the pastries. I made my way back to this charming location to once more step inside Its Excellency the Up, Down, Left, and Right Honourable Clancy's Tea Cosy. The tea sandwiches were simply SERAPHIC and the emotions stirred inside me can only be depicted by Michelangelo's Soffitto della Cappella Sistina. I then stumbled upon the scones. I do not hesitate when I proclaim that the only thing that could ever match such a fire surging in all crevices of my being is Hestia herself. My first bite, I admit, was taken in caution, for I feared that it would not match the sumptuousness delivered by those teas reminiscent of Grandmama's lair... though such a sentiment was swiftly eliminated. I felt as if my palate had let out a SAVAGE giggle from the FIERCELY rich flavour; by GEORGE, were these ever laudable!
Irresistible, untamed, sultry – these are the three words I'd pick to describe the Cosy, had I been asked to do so by a reporter of some sort. Once again, I have had nothing but an eye-opening experience here, except this time, I've uncovered another side of this precious palace. Not only do I recommend Clancy's to anyone that wishes to have a traditional, international, even genealogical experience with their teas, but I can also attest that a stimulating and electrifying experience will arise from your time here, as if you found yourself in none other than Wilburt's Ideal World.
Quaint little tea shop with delicious home made soups, freshly baked crumpets (including gluten free crumpets!) and a good selection of teas (of course!).

Last year we took our mom to high tea for an early mothers day, loved it so much we went back this year and will probably continue the tradition with her local daughters and granddaughters.
Staff is always so friendly, food fresh, delicious and different choices. Lots of food we have taken stuff home both years. I was heavily pregnant last year and didn't fit into many booth so loved the regular chair/table set up. This year coming with my 10 month old having a high chair so she could be involved and I can be hands free means so much. Not having her upset in her stroller or trying to drink hot tea having her grab at everything.
My sister and mom live near Surrey Central and I live on Brookswoods Langley so white rock is a nice middle ground for us. Free parking but can be hard to find if it's busy.
When my daughter is older I'll be bringing her by often for little tea parties.
Definitely recommend you check them out.
Kid-friendliness: High chair for younger kids. Not a place kids can run around as lots of breakable cups but kids are very welcomed in the restaurant.

Cute small tea house. So many teas to choose from. 100? I had the cream Earl Grey. Food was delicious and plentiful. We almost finished the whole thing. Parking a little tricky but we found a place by White Rock city hall.

We had a wonderful Afternoon Tea. This was our first time at Clancy's and what a treat to have everyone at our table be able to choose the type of tea they wanted. Other places we have gone for Afternoon Tea or High Tea never gave us a choice of the type of tea. We will definitely come back to Clancy's Tea Cosy.

I love high tea at Clancy’s! The service is so welcoming! The sandwiches and dessert are fresh, sassy and delicious! I had my baby shower here and have been back for a lovely lunch! The space is bright, charming and spacious enough for a stroller! The prices are quite fair for high tea! I’ll keep going back!

I am LIVIDLY stunned. My friend and I went to Clancy’s for high tea (and may I comment that it is a glittering, glitzing, glimmering, sparkling gem hidden in a pile of ashen and atrocious rocks). My first sip of tea TRANSPORTED me through time. I felt as if my mouth was oscillating between extremely sensitive and borderline euphoric. My bloody tongue never wanted to taste anything else ever again, not even in the simmering rich teas of Frostnipistan. Within the tea I tasted notes from the herbs and ferns of the Ellssari Forests in East Asia, and within THOSE, I in the most EXQUISITE MANNER found the icy fever of the cold crisp Nizhny Novgorod tundra. But above all, I was transported once again to Grandmama’s house, the ICONIC ELIZABETH ARDEN, whose teas were renowned in the Qudsabous region of the Eastern Sahara Desert. Clancy’s Tea Cosy will send you on an ethnic journey to the Seven Wonders of the World, while maintaining the nostalgic and elegant taste of Grandmama’s house.
Clancy's is like taking a step back in time. Like walking into your Grandmas kitchen. The goodies are plenty and delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and the troubles of the world fall away.

went there for high tea for my daughters birthday on Feb 11, cute little shop, food and tea were great, we were very full, lady (owner?) was very friendly, i thought everything was good. The only reason for no 5 stars is that i felt crowded, i could hear everyones convo and they could hear us, i wish it was less tables for more privacy and cozier time.

I've tried many high tea services all over BC and while on vacation in different countries. Out of all of them, the experience at Clancy's Tea Cosy is unique and top tier. This establishment is ran by a group of lovely, kind, and welcoming women. The biscuits and butter are the best I've ever had. The brie, fig jam, and pear sandwich and the mango cheesecake were me and my friend's favourite. Their tea selection is huge. I forget the name of the flavour I selected but the flavours that stood out were caramel and early grey. I will definitely return and have the afternoon high tea again with more friends and family.
