Great food , the only reason not 5 stars is they close to early as do all the restaurants in Alameda , but I line the walnut fish, And the eggplant is so good in the Mongolian beef delicious

Watching the sad decline or disappearance of many other local chinese-american restaurants i was pleasantly surprised to find China Villa is still holding down the fort. I've ordered take out twice recently and was very satisfied with the quality, quantity and speed at which the food was prepared for pickup. I've always been a fan of their crab rangoon, but definitely check out the items on the menu labeled "chef's specialties." Love that the decor inside is old school, rosewood and satin cushions, just like my Poh Poh's (grandma's) house. Can't beat the waterfront view too! Looking forward to dining in next time with my family!

The first thing I liked about China Villa was the location. Right by the water it was just soothing. Next was their Chinese decoration. It brings out a calm earthy atmosphere. Then the food and the price. The food was delicious. The veggies were perfectly cooked not soggy or hard just firm and delicious perfectly seasoned. And for all that dining experience surprisingly they kept the price reasonable.

I haven't been here since it was called Harborview. I ordered beef chow mein and shrimp fried rice, only 2 pieces of beef in the chow mein and 4 pieces of shrimp, come on get it together.
