"Jay's Coffee Teas and Treats" is a small cafe in Alameda's Morton Station. They offer coffee, teas, sandwiches and bakery items. It's a very neatly organized place, with small tables inside. I was there thirty minutes before closing, and the lady made an effort to fill orders. I ordered a large coffee. They were sold out, so she made the coffee fresh for me. The other customer asked for a sandwich, and they made it "on order" in the kitchen. This extra effort and friendly service will earn them my repeat business. Located near the A-1 Market, near Benton St & Encinal Ave. Street parking

Had a wonderful midday snack here today. Enjoyed the Banh Mi with pork (super fresh ingredients and the roll was perfectly toasted.). The iced tea hit the spot, too. Will be my go-to local place for banh mi when I get a craving. I'm usually here for their coffee and pastries, but today I wanted a savory.

I had a sweet potato sandwich and the mixed greens salad. Ingredients were fresh and the lady who helped me was really nice. I keep coming back for the jasmine tea!!!

I have been meaning to check this place out for an embarrassingly long time. Well today was the day, and I'm sorry I didn't go sooner! I had an iced mocha which was perfectly mocha-y and a green coconut pandan bun which was so so good. The bun was fluffy and slightly sweet, and the coconut filling was amazing. This will definitely become a new regular spot for me (I'm already craving another pandan bun!)

A really sweet coffee spot with local art and plenty of space to sit and enjoy. Service is always really great here as well - and the coffee and food are great!

Cute cafe spot in Alameda with lots of indoor seating! Found 2 hour free street parking right outside. On the quieter side (they don't play music), good place to study and get work done. We spent a couple of hours here, wifi worked great. They have 2 rooms with plenty of seating space and the side room has a bunch of tables. We ordered a small cafe au lait, a small iced chai latte, and an apple turnover. The drinks were average and were on the smaller size, but the apple turnover was delicious! They offered to warm it up for us too. It was just the right amount of sweet with fresh apple filling and perfectly flaky texture. We noticed they had a wide variety of items on their menu as well. Downside was it felt a little stuffy and not properly ventilated inside -- might have been caused by the smoky air outside.

The paninis are not really paninis as much as they are melts on sliced sourdough/whole wheat typed bread (despite the description of the roast beef panini mentioning focaccia). If they were priced according to their quality and size, they would cost $6.50. I will not return for their sandwiches.

Coffee was average. Ordered a apple turnover and was not offered a plate or to have it warmed up. Service was average but the place was clean.

Wonderful assortment of Asian and American pastries. Also great sandwiches. A wonderful relaxed atmosphere. You can also take your purchases around the corner to Franklin Park. I usually stop in whenever I'm In Alameda.
