Boneless wings were fried to the point of being a solid rock that could not be bitten, cut, sawed, or consumed in any manner. Not sure my circular saw could have gotten through them.Kid-friendliness: No kid menu

Great food and beer selection. Fun vibe and the bartenders were fun and gracious.

Service was fast and quick. The food was good. It was cold in there. I’m not sure if it was because of the ice cream or wet but it was really cold more cold inside than it was outside.

It really wasn't very good. The fried ribs were more bone than meat and it was chewy. The salt n pepper wings were flavorless. Just over fried food, not

I wish I could say that all the food is great. But I just can't bring myself to order anything except the Cajun noodles because they're so perfect.

Food was okay, service was 7.5/10, environment was 6/10 nothing too special. Had a big menu plastered, has a ramp in the entrance so seems wheelchair accessible which was thoughtful. Not really worth the money in my opinion. Got mongolian beef chow mein 5/10 imo, green onion and egg fried rice 6/10, lumpia 5.5/10, dry fried ribs 4.5/10 imo as they lacked flavor and wish there was more meat around the bones.

SOLID! I work in alameda so I've been coming to this location for YEARS! Go-to:SALT AND PEPPER WINGS (good size wings:meaty) I get it without the Jalepenos - they dust them with what seems like sugar or something to give it a some sweetness which I like The fries that come with it are the skinny type which compliment the wings. CRAB FRIED RICE- my friend told me about this item and been in love with it ever since! When I first got them there was SO much crab per rice ratio! Over the years though sometimes the crab ratio would be a little less but then I would come back and it would be better. I guess it depends on the season too if crabs are in season or not? Vibe inside has always been cool good music and Good size tvs for sports. What not. Don't forget to save room for dessert and grab you some ice cream too!!!!

I've been to both Monkey King restaurants on Park Street in Alameda. Both very good, tasty. A bit high in salt but not overwhelming. Staff here, like the other location is very young. Seems to be no older adults working at either. The staff is very nice tho. Ordered: vegetarian fried rice, lemon pepper wings, strawberry freeze, Thai tea.The Thai tea was ok, nothing authentic Strawberry freeze was basically artificial strawberry, flavored sugar, syrup, mixed with water and ice. It was extremely sweet, too sweet to even finish a couple of sips and into the trash it went. The vegetarian fried rice was delicious. Some of the best fried rice I've had from the Chinese restaurant. Lemon pepper wings are always very good. They are my daughters favorite.
