Location has been closed for a while now. No matter how many times I try to edit Google, the owners are illegitimately editing it as still open.

Place has been closed for a long time. Wanted to give them another try, after being underwhlemed by their ramen a few years back, but their "re-grand-opening" seems to have already ended.

9/30/21 Well, we were looking forward to checking this place out, but they were closed, making this difficult to review. However, I wanted to update the public and maybe save a trip? When I try it, I will have a formal review. Quality/Quantity - Atmosphere - Closed Service - Price - Owner Suggestion - Please update your "social media", Yelp, if closed.

This was the first time at this restaurant for my hubby and I. In fact, I didn't notice this being in the Marina Village Parkway so we decided to have ramen. Unfortunately due to the pandemic, they no longer server ramen, but they serve Korean food - that's 3 korean spots in Alameda! We had the Chives pancake which was delicious - if you know what a green onion pancake is, it's like that but made with chives and NOT greasy, I actually preferred eating it without the sauce. Hubby had the special Korean noodle soup - which was fine, he enjoyed the light broth flavor but there was sauce on the side that you could add to give it more flavor. I had the spicy pork - which ended up being what amounts to maybe a pound of spicy pork that comes with rice. WAY too much meat for me to finish, so portion was generous. This came with side of kimchi and pickled radish (yummy) and a side salad. Their dressing was VERY good - no wonder you can buy it at $7 for a 16oz bottle. The dressing almost tasted like light ginger, seasame, and miso.... but all balanced very well, not overly salty or tart. Service was friendly and helpful as well. Clean restaurant and servers/employees wore masks at all times. We will definitely return!

What a hidden gem on the island. I can't believe it's taken me this long to discover it, but I know it won't be a secret for long. They opened just before the pandemic so kept a low profile. The food is amazing and the service is super friendly. We had the special noodle soup (not on menu), the chive pancake, and the spicy pork stir fry w/ green-onion-infused-oil. Wow! Also, very respectable pickeled vegs and authentic kim-chi. Try this place before it gets super popular!

Got the pork with green onions. It tasted great, and was more than enough. It was spicy too but it didnt give that burning feeling.

Food was okay and good. My rating was 1 star for the mere fact that they did not disclose that they use nuts(cashews) in their salad dressing and my daughter has a anaphylactic reaction and when to the hospital. With all the food allergies that people have today, it's very important to notate certain ingredients that people might be allergic to.

I came here feeling hungry after an interview for my job. It was late at night, so business was slow and I was greeted by this sweet Korean woman at the door. It was my first-time at the restaurant and the customer service was on point already! I asked her if she had anything that wasn't spicy and she kindly suggested that I get the Honey KPG Pork, one of their most popular items, in which she explained the pork was marinated overnight and then cooked to perfection. She further explained the other contents of the meal - a light sweet vinegar apple and red onion salad, plain white rice, and a salad packed with a Korean bean paste. That interested me because she told me that they only had one left, so to me that sounded like it had to be good. I was patient and waited for about 10-15 minutes and during my wait my phone was dying. The same woman offered to charge my phone (don't expect them to charge your phone too XD) and let me use her charger. I thought that was such a kind gesture and how her services saved me the trouble of figuring out how to get back home without my phone! After the wait, I finally got my order and she then further explained how to eat the food. She taught me in Korean culture I would have to wrap the pork meat in one of the lettuce leaves and pair it with the apple salad as well. When I got back to my car, I was excited to try out the food! I first ate pork meat and I was surprised on how well it was cooked. The pork meat was roasted to perfection and my favorite part was eating the end bits where it seemed to caramelize and lock in all the flavor; although, when I got to the middle the marinade was less intense. It was still delicious, so I kept eating it anyways. My favorite parts of the meal were the apple salad because the apples were crisp and juicy in every bite! For the lettuce salad, I was in love with the Korean bean paste she made because it tasted a lot like miso. It had a high salt content like miso, but was added with a little bit of spice and had chunks of beans. I paired everything together and there were so many flavors going on it was so delicious! Overall, this is a great place to eat when you want to dine in on Korean home cooking! The Korean woman, I never asked her name, made the entire menu, so it felt like you were a guest at her house! Prices could be a bit cheaper, but the contents of it are filling and full of flavor. Finally, there should have been a bit more marinade flavor in the middle of the pork cut. It's an easy fix, but so far there is great potential in this restaurant. I hope to see it thrive and have a lot more customers during Covid-19!

ALRIGHT! This is a TAKE-OUT review during the time of the Rona. If you're on the west end of alameda and need some fast, decent, well-packaged food, head to Nudoru! It's not a must, but I will be back for sure. CONVENIENT: Nudoru is in the Marina Village strip mall (you know, where the Carl's Jr. is!) which makes it super convenient because there's easy parking. It also means you can comfortably eat in your car which sounds odd but this has become part of my routine during these "Uncertain Times" TM. I placed an order on Uber Eats (which takes a massive cut - I should stop doing this) and it was ready in about 6 minutes. Nice! SERVICE: No glowing review here due to social distancing but my food was on a small table and I picked it right up after telling the man at the front my name! He seemed nice but again, we weren't interacting due to social distancing so not much to say here. WELL-PACKAGED AND HOT: Look, well-packaged is a thing. I value it more these days as we can't dine in. I took pics so you can see but the food didn't move or leak and it was warm. As far as I'm concerned, I'm a happy camper! PRICES: Everyone is trying their best right now and Bay Area prices are generally high. I paid $15.50 for my food after taxes and I ordered rice and salmon. This is an average price for food in the Bay Area. Do I think it's overpriced? For sure! Is it unreasonable? Nope. Just not going to make my list of cheap eats. Worth mentioning is that the portions are big. FOOD QUALITY: Food quality was fine. Nothing that I would say makes this place a must. No signature dish (that I've found yet). I ordered the salmon sweetness bowl and was worried about the sweet sauce. But hey, I just worked out so I figured it would be fine. And it was! Sauce wasn't too sweet and it was pretty light across the fish. It looks like I got two solid fillets which is great for leftovers. The salad was fine though the dressing was maybe frozen or something (see pics). The salmon could have been more flavorful but this isn't a fine dining restaurant so I don't much mind. Since I'm a fitness fiend I'm stoked for the amount of protein I got and how clean the food was despite me eating rice and sweet sauce. Would order it again if I needed a protein fix!

Maybe the best Pho I have had!! I was in the neighborhood to pick up supplies for my salon and noticed this gem. I had the veggie Pho and added wontons. Incredibly flavorful and the service was prompt and friendly

I had the KBP beef and was very happy with it. I am planning on going back soon. The lady helping us was also very nice. It was a nice change from the regular burgers and Mexican food I get for takeout.
