Pretty good garlic noodles, salt and pepper shrimp and green beans! Menu is very simple and I was pleasantly surprised. A little greasy, but a step above Panda Express, if you know what I mean. Solid staple for a quick meal where you'll have leftover, but not something I can eat everyday

Food is excellent. We get the salt and pepper fish fillets each time. Everything else we have had is solid. But the fish is to die for. Lightly fried, large chunks of fish. Yum.Vegetarian options: Good amount of vegetarian options

Delicious noodles; I think this is the tastiest chow mein I have ever had with perfect texture noodles, yummy sauce, and fresh veggies. Other dishes we tried and really liked include Mongolian beef and string bean chicken. The Shezjuan tofu had so many rave reviews we decided to try it too; amazing sauce but the tofu itself is thickly breaded then deep fried...too heavy/greasy for us.

My favorite Chinese takeout on the West End! (Note that indoor seating is closed, so plan to pick up and take it home.) I stop by any time I'm running an errand in the area and want to satisfy my Szechuan chicken or garlic noodle craving. I order on the app and by the time I get there, the food is ready, always hot and fresh, and really generous portions that make for excellent leftovers (or good for sharing). I love to support this neighborhood family business just like the one I grew up in (ours was a little pizza shop with regulars that came in every week). Make it a tradition and shop/eat local!

Best Chinese food I have had in a long time. The woman at the front desk is so kind, and the food never disappoints. My personal favorite is the Szechuan tofu, but I've brought friends here and they love the kung pao beef, and any of their Szechuan dishes. The chow mein is delicious and doesn't need any extra sauce, it's perfect just how it comes. Prices are amazing for the ginormous quantity, and it's consistently delicious every time. Definitely recommend!

This place is so consistent and so tasty - it's more often than not our go-to take out for lunch. 3 dishes feed 4 people with some leftovers. Our favorite is the salt and pepper fish fillet. The batter is light and we love eating the crunchy garlic chili bits at the bottom over white rice. Yum! The woman who runs this is super nice. I always enjoy seeing her and she's always very friendly. Highly recommend this spot for easy take out Chinese food on Webster.

I have lived all over the country and in many parts of the bay areaI can say without reservation that the Orchid Pavillion is the best Chinese food in California and probably the country. One of the many secrets Alameda has to offer. Delivery ot take out only but you won't forget this gem that outshines them all. We over order so we have lots of leftovers. Combination chow mein, sweet and sour pork (which I gave up ordering years before now, soups, sausage fried rice and even the egg rolls are to die for.San Francisco has nothing on this place.

Oy. I'm not sure how this place got so many good reviews. We ordered the Kung pao chicken, the green beans, the popcorn chicken and garlic fries. The food was so so so very over salted. And we love salt. I'm a heavy salter. It was hard to push down, but we did because we paid and it's what we had available for dinner. Now our whole household is regretting it. They lady who my partner interacted with when he picked it up was kind, thus the extra star. But the food was really lousy. I'm so disappointed. We cannot recommend this place.

This is one of our go-to places. The food is always fresh and the service is amazing. Current favorites are Salt & Pepper Prawns and Orange Chicken, but we've never had anything that wasn't great. And there's alway enough for at least a second meal. I highly Orchid Pavillion!

Delicious food, charming attentive staff, spotlessly clean restaurant! We had the honey, and walnut prawns and what we loved about them was how flavorful they were without being too sweet. We also had the salt & pepper chicken wings, also very yummy.
