Pho and Baguette is permanently closed. A new business is in its location. Rang Dong Vietnamese Cuisine opened at this location on Saturday, December 11, 2020. I haven't been to Rang Dong yet.

Came by here after a nice half day walk and running our dogs at the Alameda Marina. I was tired and didn't have the energy to cook dinner so decided to stop here before going home. Ordered a couple of Banh Mi and it was delicious. I liked the bread a lot too, crunchy and soft inside. I also ordered their cube beef steak with fried egg and Asian sausage. That was really good and very tasty. Service was very nice and I didn't know they also served boba drinks which I will order next time. They have a 10 minute parking up front which is quite convenient especially if you are just going in to pick up your order or if your dogs are with you. All in all, I'd definitely be back and I might stop by here before going to the Alameda Marina, to buy a few Banh Mi for our picnic basket. Service was fantastic. Cheers!

Came in to order a few spring rolls to eat as a snack after we were done with Crab Cove nearby. Chairs are all up and no dining in due to COVID. Overall, this place looks clean. Order didn't take too long. Will try them out again if I am in the area next time.

Sad sad Pandan waffles just look at the color, at first I thought they had chocolate in them until I tasted them. Consistency from this place is not there because they were not like this before. Kid wanted vermicelli bowl and one of their favorite items Pandan waffles for lunch. This was one of the only places open on Sunday that wasnt too far away.Waffles were edible after a few bites but couldn't get myself to eat anymore as they were soggy. Stick to their banh mi, vermicelli bowls and other items if you come here even though they are average at best. Can't imagine anyone would want these sad a** waffles wrapped around their fried chicken sandwich. You would think with Covid19 more care and focus would be put in quality and consistency for take out food but apparently it's not here! Will stick to other Vietnamese places around the island from now on. Hope they shape up for their regulars that frequent this place.

Oh I love this place. I do have a preference on who makes my food. The lady with the makeup does it the best.

Hubby and I was over by Top Up waiting for our drinks when he saw Pho & Baguette. I pulled up their yelp page to look at their menu and saw that they had Coconut Pandan Waffles as a sandwich! I was honestly just craving the waffles as it's been a very long time since I've had some.Back when my family would go to San Jose, we would leave the Grand Century Plaza with these waffles that I love so much. I'm so glad that there's a place close by for me to buy some! I wasn't sure if they sold the waffle on its own, I didn't look too much into the menu after I saw the waffle sandwich, but once we came in, I saw their buy 3 get 1 free deal and I had to get it! I know I went overboard but I couldn't help it.Eat it while it's fresh and hot! The crispy crunch at first bite into the soft dough after was worth it! I am definitely coming back here for these bomb waffles!

in summery: horrible customer service, the food was cold, took 1 hour for a food pickup.I first made an order on doordash for pickup, doordash called and said the the place want to cancel because the want direct orders and something about pricing, since this was 15 mins later and I was half way there, I thought to call and make the order, when I called an irritated lady answered the phone and then gave me to another employee to take my order, which is fine people have hard days, they took the order forgot to take my name and told me it'll be 20 mins.10 mins later when I arrived to the restaurant I went in and paid, and went outside to wait for my order to be ready in 10 mins, when I went back in to check if it was ready, the same irritated lady from the phone told me in angry tone to wait outside and she'll get me the food out there, so I decided to go wait in the car which is parked right infront of the restaurant, 40 mins later when it seems that everybody got there food and I was still waiting, I went again to check and surprisingly my food was ready for a while, not it was colder, and she was sitting there chatting with a guy, there were no customers in the store, when I asked her why you didn't call for me or brought me the food like you said when you asked me to wait outside, she said that she couldn't find me, while she have seen me at least twice when she walked outside, the funny part is that they started blaming me for not communicating with them.oooh and one more thing, the order was missing stuff.

Fast and simple Vietnamese fare. Tasty banh mi sandwiches with their specialty cilantro pesto spread. They have regular and even oxtail pho soup. The shaking beef (cubed and grilled) with rice is also decent. Pandan waffles are recommended for a quick snack (they're more of a dessert-style than breakfast item). Overall, they have reasonable prices in a casual to-go venue with about 4-6 small tables inside.

Great fresh sandwiches. Try the wings. Soup is super yum, but I really come for the sandwiches and lobster balls.

Cute little shop, nice service, wonderful food. The pho is the best I've had, and they have a host of other yummy things.

Love this cozy shop tucked away in Alameda- no frills, but the bahn mi I got was spot on!! It was traditional with an added flair (a pesto of some sort??) and the price was more than reasonable! I wish this spot was closer to me- I would definitely frequent this place and try everything on their menu. That mango smoothie hit the spot on a hot day- only wish they had boba available but a small gripe. Hope to be back soon!

Did a take out and ordered the fish waffle sandwich , garlic noodle with pork and the food was really sad. I should have taken A picture of the pork but the pork with the garlic noodle Was dry and close to un eatable. The fish waffle sandwich was the only item that is eatable. Hope this is just a 1 off but I don't think I would come back

Love this place! Everything I've tried has been fantastic. Pho, bahn mi, salads, loaded fries, all of it! I have my go-to pork bahn mi, but every time I try something new, it's always a winner. It's one of my regular places I go to here in Alameda!

This is a cool little family-run spot! Pho and Baguette is great for a quick bit, perhaps not a full meal. The seating is a little uncomfortable. They only have these small backless stools, no chairs. This encourages a fast throughput of the seating because its not too cozy. On our most recent visit, I tried the waffle chicken sandwich with fries. I asked for the fries crispy and they entirely ignored this request. Instead they did the chicken patty well done. It was tough and bit dry, but still edible. Parking at this place is easy. There is a private parking lot in the strip mall that it sits in. The location is also nice. It sits at the southern end of the Webster Street business district.
