They do not give out the Monopoly pieces to anyone I waited in a long line and then had to go back the next day the 2nd day I asked for them I was also pressing the assistance button numerous times and no one shows up then when I tried to wave down the lady she ignored me while staring right at me

This safeway sucks and is constantly out of stock of items. It really went downhill when it inherited new management years ago.

Both Google and the official store hours on the Safeway website list this as being open 24 hours; I verified this before leaving. What gives?

Worst customer service department and management of any Safeway. I ordered an item and received a call to pick it up. When I arrived an hour later, the Customer Service desk was closed. When I requested the store manager, Carlos, he didn't answer multiple pages for 20 minutes. I finally left. Very frustrating.

I dont t recommend ordering online for this location. The first time I ordered online, I set a pick up time for 6pm and my order wasn't ready until 10pm. We ended up buying take out for dinner because of this. I gave this place another try today... First, all the pick up and go parking spaces were occupied by non-pick up and go vehicles. Second, I called the pick up and go number provided on the sign and no one ever picked up. I tried about 10 times within a 25 minute period. Nothing. I had to call the main store number who then transferred me to another department and finally got a hold of someone. She advised that she would let her co-worker know that I was waiting. I would've been able to shop on my own and been out of Safeway by the time I finally received my order.

They had a small, but decent selection of craft beer. The store is convenient to get to with lots of parking.

My wife and I had a printed gift card, the only way we could afford Thanksgiving dinner this year after serious financial hits in the wake of COVID - we are just scraping by. After spending more than an hour shopping while exhausted after work, we were told our gift card couldn't scan and would not be accepted. We asked if the card could be entered manually -a standard process that I have done at countless business and at every retail job I have ever worked. We were told that it was store policy not to do that. They also refused to print another copy for us. We were told, point blank and in plain language to come back another day and do all of our shopping again. They literally told us it was store policy to waste our time and energy. Do not shop here. Ever.

Online Delivery Service Review : This Safeway location has repeatedly tried to sell me items I did not ask for even after making clear I did not want any substitutions of any kind in my online delivery orders. Why even give us this option if you are just going to ignore it every single time? Even after complaining, sending items back and getting refunds they keep blatantly ignoring the substitution information they ask customers to fill out as part of their online ordering system. I think this is an incredibly deceptive and greedy practice that they are engaged in. They are hoping to profit off customers that don't want to be bothered with complaining and getting refunds for things they did not ask for. They are also wasting their own time and resources dealing with unwanted items that get sent back for refunds. Their personal shoppers are wasting time looking for unwanted subs. Their customer service has to deal with the complaints and refund requests. Their delivery drivers get backed up dealing with the items that get sent back. Instead of trying to blatantly rip customers off like this they should be working harder on keeping their stores stocked with the items they keep running out of. They should just learn to live with the fact that if they don't have something the customer wants then they lose out on the $$$. Maybe that would encourage them to keep their stock up instead of forcing unwanted items on us through their delivery service like this. I am contacting state and federal authorities to see how they view this practice and encourage you to do the same if they ignore your substitution requests (California Consumer Affairs and the Federal Trade Commission).

Crowded, under staffed, lack of healthy food options, high prices. Bummer.
Crowded and most check stands closed. Very few COVID 19 safety precautions. No hand sanitizer at the front. Security guard checking his phone. Long lines causing crowding. Dirty carts. Generally, a poorly-managed store.

This place is absolutely outstanding. Certainly worth a return trip. Prices are reasonable. If it was closer to my home I would be here often.

Delivery driver did not wear mask, and did not understand Safeway's contact-free delivery policy. Delivery failed. And was not safe.

We had an event on Sunday, October 4th, 2020 and I ordered 2 party sized sandwich trays in the morning and was going to pick them up at 5:00. I was told that they were going to send a notification to me when my order was ready. I went to the store around 5:30 pm and someone from the store called me at 5:45 pm. The lady on the phone told me that they had a technical issue and they didn't prepare my order. Seriously? I placed my ordered around 8:53 am and you waited until 5:45 pm to tell me. Zero professionalism and horrible customer service.

They make deadly floral arrangements without warning!A few months ago I bought a pretty bouquet with lilies and had no idea they were extremely toxic. There was no warning in the floral area nor on the flowers themselves & obviously didn't think anything of it.By the next morning, my house filled with this sweet smell I couldn't stand & I threw them out of the house but I didn't know the damage was already done.Attracted to the sweet smell, my cat was eating (he's never done that) the roses I decided to keep that had pollen from the lilies. Within days something was off about him and within weeks we had tried keeping our buddy alive with fluids every other 5 days. When we took him to the vet not knowing what was wrong, the first question asked was "was he exposed to lilies?" At first I had said no because I FORGOT I had made such a simple purchase & never linked the two but was immediately reminded of the bouquet I posted on my social media.Eventually we had to devastatingly say goodbye to our healthy boy. Warnings should be available to consumers! I would have simply gone with roses had I known my boy would be in danger. Come to find out, lilies are recommended as outdoor flowers due to the strong smell and toxins, so why was it in a bouquet meant for indoor?
