This is an hibachi restaurant where the chef cooks on the table grill in front of you. We expected some theatrics, but it was just a lot of tapping the utensils. The onion volcano was cool. The food was good and the service was friendly. Nothing extra special and pricey for what we got. $45 per person for lunch.

I was visiting Jersey, and this was a pleasant surprise. My friend that lives here got to visit this for the first time, too, and we were both blown away in every aspect of the dining experience. You have to try the virgin Piña Colada or the Strawberry daq. There is a 30% gratuity added to the bill. The sushi was fresh and well made too.

The staff was patient with our large party and a few late comers at the opening of the dinner rush. Our last minute celebration of our fathers 75th Birthday was a hit, thanks to the staff and manager a time was had from the bar happy hour to the chefs at all 3 stations we occupied.

We used to come here a lot when we lived in Alameda. Went back after couple of years for a late lunch. We ordered sushi and the shrimp tempura. The taste was quite bland. Not sure what’s lacking. Though presentation still looks good. They also add 20% service charge to your check regardless of how many people in your party (3 of us and we were charged $23 service fee) considering it took a while for the server to take our order, no one even bother checking on us while eating. We asked for our check and gave us the wrong one. They weren’t even busy at that time since it’s already passed lunch time. We were disappointed.

The website shows that the restaurant is open until 9:30 pm. I arrived at 3:30 pm and the restaurant was closed. I knocked on the door and was told that they close from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm and they weren't sure about the website!!!
Food is not as good- cook did no performance other than setting a huge flame! Charged a 20% service fee which I wasn't happy about the experience wasn't as expected for sure !

The place is great, nothing special, the only thing I don't agree with the place is that they automatically add 20% service fee aka (tip) to your bill on whatever you order which is posted if you read the signs, just to give an idea, my service fee was an extra $45 to my bill, then they still put a tip line if you want to add more tip on top of your service fee, Really!! I know I won't be going there anymore, but was good, I would say slightly pricey, but nothing spectacular.
Very nice place. Watching the chefs prepare the food is enjoyable and the taste of the food cannot be beat. I think they raised the prices a bit for Valentine's Day, also they had an automatic “service charge”, which is OK but they should have called it what it was a gratuity. I wanted to make sure the 20% was going to the staff, when I found out it was I did not add an extra tip.

I've been there about 3 times but the last time mi waitress was very rude, I asked to talk to the manager about the situation and my surprise was unexpected, she was same as the waitress, they forced me to move to another place because I didn't want to order a specific plate.
