I wasn’t super impressed with this restaurant tonight. It took my party of two 90 minutes to get out of the restaurant because the service was very slow. I didn’t appreciate the overly wobbly table either. The food is acceptable although very oily so I don’t think I’m be back.Vegetarian options: Two pasta options and a few salad options. The salads are mostly spinach though

02/29/24, Not a good experience this time. In their defense it was the last day to use any 2023 holiday gift cards that were outstanding and we were in the crowd of last day certificate users. But that note does not excuse any obvious issues that should have not been overlooked liked bringing food to our table that obviously did not have eating utensils or napkins. The food was ok, not fantastic as with previous dining visits. Our waitress was ok, her name is Jill

Tomatina is a restaurant that is in the city where I live, I confess that I had never been there one day I said...it's today!!Since my favorite Italian restaurant had closed in the Oakland area. I go to restaurants in almost the entire Bay area, but this one was a pleasant surprise for me and I have been repeating it religiously every Thursday and every day is a surprise in addition to the excellent service I always get from the waitress Cris.It will be easy for you to find out who Cris is, she has a streak of green hair and a kind of Irish and alternative way. But she is an incredibly friendly person, I can say that she is, if not better, one of the best waitresses I have ever seen in my life, simply unforgettable... someone who makes you want to be served all the time by her, because she is wonderful. Not only in efficiency in service but also in immense friendliness.Don't miss out. This is an experience worth differentiating between before and after she met you.The food is wonderful and comes quickly, the attentive Cris always remembers my name and remembers my characteristics from previous orders, like asking for a spoon to eat my spaghetti, something I've done since I was a child when my mother and father learned at school. Italy this. Furthermore, the care with the food, care and attention to customers is something fantastic.Cris has a memory that always remembers her name and her characteristics, food, as well as moving quickly, with a diplomatic education. Everything comes quickly, it's a clean and pleasant place. The staff is polite, the food is to die for and I always pray that I have found a new, better Italian restaurant for you to eat at, finally. I'm a fan of the place, I can't have better reviews than that.

My daughter and I came here to enjoy some pasta at a restaurant we had never been to before. It's located in downtown Alameda on park. We did not have to wait for seating at lunch time. They have the QR code and paper menus available. We were able to place our orders and receive our food quickly. The menu options were good and the food was delicious. Our server was basically the only one working at the time and she did a great job with drinks and bringing the food while also taking orders.

Service was great --engaging, friendly and quick. The bread was fantastic, and the lasagna was good too. Big portions. Can't wait to try more of the menu and check out happy hour.
We specifically come on Thursdays because it's "kids night" and our two boys absolutely love the food and the atmosphere. Our meals were simply outstanding. The service staff were kind, generous, and helpful. We could not be happier with our dining experience.

We come here often and are always happy with our experience overall. Last night our primary server was wonderful - she was attentive, helpful and extremely nice. The person who delivered our order to the table was not so much...he was not terribly friendly and didn't know who ordered what (delivery lottery). Not sure if the ticket could be written in a way to make this obvious (there were only 3 of us - so not terribly tricky). He didn't even try. I suggest the next time our primary server deliver the meals or help the secondary server understand who-gets-what. The carbonara, chicken parm and winter pasta were wonderful. Also love the outdoor heated patio.

Had a great dinner for a friends birthday. Our server Karina was amazing, super friendly and attentive, food was delish, we shared a Caesar salad( yum), a happy hour pizza with spinach and mushrooms(really good) Shrimp pasta ( delish) and chocolate cake for dessert. Also had happy hour beer/ monday special for$3 and a cpl of cocktails and Prosecco. Emilio in the kitchen is amazing as well, we will be back, Thanks for a fabulous time ?
