love love love 938 crawfish! if we are ever craving seafood boil, this is our go-to. definitely the best place for seafood boil in the east bay. we've had it 3 times since SIP, their service has been quick and easy. Our favorites are the crawfish, garlic noodles, and sweet potato fries but honestly EVERYTHING IS SO GOOD IN THEIR CAJUN COMBO SAUCE. We also love to save the leftover sauce and eat it over rice. DANG IT now I got myself craving this again.
Ordered 2 lb shrimp, 2 corn & 1 order of sausage on the side for takeout. Somehow got overcharged for shrimp + 4x corn & 2 orders of sausage, and the bag had 4 corn and 1 order of sausage (???). Cajun + medium spicy tasted ok, but some shrimps were mushy
This place obviously knows how to serve their customers. Regularly with a super nice mindset. The food is affordably priced, constantly delicious and clean.
do you guys ever pick up the phone????? pick up the damn phoneMy family been trying to order food from here the last week but you guys never pick up the phone, actually whats up with that? It says you guys close at 7;45 and were calling at 5 to place an order. Seriously frustrating just get someone to answer
Tried 938 Crawfish for the first time today. The food was pretty good. At first the portion seemed small for the price, but I was stuffed when I finished. The sauce is very oil based and I prefer a butter base but it was still good. My husband got the shrimp combo flavor but medium spice level. It had red pepper flakes with a smoky taste.Overall we liked it and will order again.Customer service was excellent especially compared to competition a few exits up.
I dine in this lovely spot often! This is my favorite place to eat. I visit this place at least once a month. The food is excellent, the team is professional and the charge is fair. I like meeting in this restaurant to have a rich dinner.
Was really excited to try 938 crawfish. Went last week and spent almost $90 on a boil and garlic noodles for two. The sauce and flavor was amazing, portion size however was very small. Id say about $40 worth max. Also asked for shrimp with the heads off and they came heads on. The shrimp was so mushy it wasn't edible. And we got TWO literally two tiny sausage slices in the boil. We were very disappointed as we had been so excited to try it. I give 2 stars for the friendly customer service and the sauce tasting great.
It was ok. I was looking for more flavor. I got medium cajun seasoning.
Yooo that's right that's a 5! By the end of it I was fishing for more shrimp and was trying to think of other stuff I could dip in the sauce. I got a pound of the shrimp boil with corn and 2 potatoes (potatoes were big, couldve done with just 1). Went with the combo sauce and medium spice. Came out to $23 something which if you know me is expensive. However, I got my money's worth. I wasn't full but just right. Sauce wasn't too garlicky and not too thick. Medium wasn't as spicy but all the more reason to go back. Definitely will want to go here when they reopen because the inside looked like a cool atmosphere. Cashier was also very nice (and cute despite in a mask ). On that note, eat well -ant
Food delicious good and everything no weights in lines food hot when you get it but just be careful because there is a whole outside a pothole that I feeling too like he said he has nothing to do with that but I was your customer
I haven't been back in a while, but this is my favorite crawfish place on this side of the bay.
We are major seafood fanatics in my family, and we had high expectations for 938 Crawfish. I am pleased to report that we were not disappointed! Everything was delicious; the catfish, crawfish, crab, and especially the garlic noodles. Wonderful service too! We will definitely be returning.
Wanted to give them another chance ordered Togo for my bday this past Friday night food came out fast but maybe to fast cause they forgot 3 of my corn that I was clearly charged for tried to give them a call but no answer
10/10 recommend! Players Plate is a win! Best Garlic Noodles in the Bay! Tony will always look out!
