“They don’t offer goat curry with Naan and don’t offer substitution for it.” So I posted this review and when the owner/waiter brought our bill he become confrontational and despite my unwillingness to engage he got in my face so I had to get up and leave. Only fair point the owner/waiter had was that I have left a review before eating but I had eaten there before which is why I brought my friend there. Also the chicken biryani was overwhelming in flavor which is what I got and the pork belly was little burnt but overall ok. My stomach is upset from it actually. Overall my anticipation about the food was correct and the confrontational behavior was unwelcoming. They could have just reported it if they so wished. Not going here again and not recommending any of my friends to go here ever again.

Good food from friendly people. The room is not bad, but not ' special date' nice. The heater near the door helped make us cozy. You can see by my photo how good the food was;-)Vegetarian options: Typical vegetarian Indian food dishes, but the Johi Momo was new to me, and yummy!Parking: BevMo parking lot, I think, is shared with Aangan. At least part of it anyway. Usually nearby street parking too

I was craving for some spicy vegetable momos and found this place on Yelp. The reviews were high so I wanted to give this place a shot. My friends and I ordered chai, veggie momos, veggie chowmein, paneer tikka masala and garlic naan. The ambiance was nice. The restaurant was decorated well with Nepalese ornaments and had a very traditional touch. The presentation of the veggie momos was top notch. The momos were covered in a spicy garlic sauce and were coupled together with bell peppers and onions. The flavor of the momos was really good. We liked it so much that we ordered another round. The chai was cold, so unfortunately we had to ask them to redo it. The chowmein was bland so we asked for some chilly garlic sauce to enhance the flavor. The paneer gravy and the naan were cooked to perfection. The service was very good. Our server ensured that we were well taken care of. If you are in the area, you should definitely try the spicy veggie momos for sure !

We recently had a fantastic experience at Hamro Aagan Restaurants in San Pablo. We ordered the Nepali Thali, and it was absolutely delicious! The Nepali-style goat curry and chicken curry were particularly flavorful and well-prepared.The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure our dining experience was enjoyable. Additionally, the restaurant itself was clean and had a pleasant ambiance.Overall, I highly recommend Hamro Aagan for anyone looking for authentic and delicious Nepali food with excellent service.

I don’t usually leave reviews ever, but my roommate and I were so blown away by how good this food was and how nice the people were who gave me the food when I picked it up, that I had to leave a review. Seriously some of the best butter chicken Ive ever tried in my life, and every other thing we ordered blew us away too! I highly recommend this place, I can’t wait to go back and try dining in!

The waitress was very nice and sweet, however the food said it all. We had to wait a long time to get food, but it was not too bad. I ordered rise and butter chicken, but the rice was extremely dry and bland. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND !! The naan was very hard to tear but still okay. The restaurant was not very nicely decorated either, but i do appreciate its cleanliness. I didn't feel rushed, and felt cozy over here. I am half and half on recommending this place to you guys, but the food wasn't the best.

Amazing food, great service. I will be back! The back patio is so adorable, I can't wait for warmer weather so I am sit out there and enjoy a great meal. Also, patio is pet friendly.

This joint elevates tandoori to an art form. Tender, juicy and flavorful. Butter chicken is on the sweeter and tomato-ey side, still fantastic. Original naan tastes better than the garlic naan (which by the way is no slouch). Garlic naan is properly done, you will not feel like chewing on raw garlic. Chili momo is a must have. Sweet, spicy, savory with a crisp shell enclosing the juicy meat inside. Perfect texture. Some dishes like tandoori chicken and momo come with side veges, which are perfectly cooked, attesting to the chef's finesse with the heat. Can't say much about authenticity (never been to nepal), but sure tastes awesome.

Been coming here since 2016. Either there was a change in management or there was a decision to try and cut cost somewhere. Main staple has always been Chicken Tikka Masala. Last time I ordered it for take out, there wasn't much chicken, the curry was not it's usual consistency and the curry was broken. Thinking that it was a one-off, I ordered the same order the following week. To my dismay, the curry was more watered down than the last time, the curry was broken - the oil clearly separated from the curry and floating on top, there was barely any chicken pieces and the basmati rice was very dry, as if I had been served rice from the night before.Like I said, I've been coming here for awhile, and they've usually been on point with their food. The service is great, I usually order take out so I can't speak on the atmosphere. And I get it, times are tough and running a restaurant is extremely costly, especially with the increase in food and overhead costs. But the food I ordered these past few times is definitely different from when I remembered. GIven the sheer volume of Nepalese restaurants on Solano, I may have to seek other alternatives.

This is by far the best Indu-Nepalese restaurant in the Bay Area. Definitely going back!
