They closed early on Saturday, February 17. They were supposed to close at 8; we arrived at 7:30 and had placed an online order. Shame on you - we loved your burgers, but we will never eat here again without a *big* apology.

If could give zero I would . Bland tasteless food. Owner is rude and has officially given up. In sanitary bathroom and clueless staff- umm no soap in bathroom health code violation ?

This place has really fallen off. We've been avoiding this place like a plague for the last few years due to bad customer service and less than mediocre food. Tonight we wanted burgers and went with Boss out of convenience. Huge mistake... never again. As others have said the owner is an a-hole not only to customers but to his staff as well. The burgers are overcooked (saying anything below well done is a health code violation) unseasoned and just over all basic at best. Fries are bland and soggy. How do you specialize in burgers and fail so miserably?!? I honestly don't know how they remain in business. We won't be back!

Bought a $9.50 kids chicken tenders, and it only came with a single tender cut in half and a small amount of fries. My child was hungry after lunch. Way overpriced. Long time customer who won't be visiting again.

Like it but they closed earlier than their listed hours on a couple of occasions so that was disappointing.Kid-friendliness: They have free video games

Had a great fried chicken sandwich and grilled beef burger at BOSS on Solano in Albany tonight. Chicken was fried to perfection and more than covered the bun while burger was tasty with special Boss sauce. Hardly a wait. . .10 minutes. . . eat there or take out. . .worth checking out!!

Millionaires bacon was so bland in both texture and flavor had to check to make sure they actually put it on the burger. Just not that good tbh, the garlic fries were bomb but the burgers did not eatn their keep.

The guy who made my burger was very excited that I ordered it and gave me tips on how to eat it and I just think that level of care and attention is so

Boss Burger in Albany, CA is our go-to spot for delicious burgers! The burgers are fantastic, especially with the irresistible boss sauce that adds a unique flavor. The service is consistently great, and the local atmosphere adds a charming touch. My son loves coming here after baseball practice; it's become his favorite spot for a classic, satisfying burger.

Food is pretty standard but a bit over-priced. $9 for a standard burger. $13 for specialty burger. This is not a full-service, sit-down restaurant. It's more on par with fast-food, takeout places. But with 2X the price. But even worse is the owner/manager of the place. The guy is a prick. First time I interacted with him, he told me that they only cook burgers well done, when I ordered a medium well for my son. He said it's a health violation unless it's cooked well done. BS. I told him medium well or we'll go somewhere else. More recently, we went there and ordered a kids meal for my son. After we paid, he told us that they just received a big order and that it would be 25-30 mins before our order. He asked if that was ok. I asked my son if he was ok to wait. While I was talking to my son, the manager, shouted at us "well, do you want it or not?!". I told him I was asking my son. And he just turned, walked away and waved us off. What an ass. We will not be giving them any more business...which is unfortunate because we live 2 blocks away.

Hella good burger, perfect portions. Not 5* because no onion rings should cost almost $8, still in shock, haha. Service was fine, food was fresh, if I lived close I'd return.. No nonsense owner liked him

I love boss ! Their spicy grilled chicken sandwich is the bomb. They also offer a fried chicken version - but not my thing. The spice is on point - not mild, but not extreme either. I've been a customer for a year. I was ordering via doordash but have recently been dropping in. The owner is chill and I really like his vibe. He asked me today my take on his burger which prompted my review. Thanks again - you rock !

The food was good, but not amazing. My partner had the Grilled Cheese burger and I had the Philly Cheesesteak burger, we also ordered the sweet potato fries. My partner wants to stress that he REALLY liked the fries, they were great and so was their iced tea. The biggest problem we had was not the food though, like many other folks have stated, the manager is rude and comes off as condescending. When we ordered my partner ordered a small drink, he received a water cup and went to fill it at the soda fountain. The manager then grilled him about using a water cup to get soda (which was really watered down by the way-- not worth $4) and not paying for the big cup. Mind you, he asked for a small drink, NOT a water cup, so we were under the impression that he could use that at the soda fountain. From reading other reviews I can see that this owner seems to care more about profit and not customer service, but he is neglecting to see that if your gonna charge so much for mid level food then your customer service should at least make up for it. The cashier was nice though.
