It is Sunday night and our family made the last minute decision to order food instead of cooking. It's been a long day. After having just eaten the delivered pizza, I felt compelled to share how happy I am with this Domino's. From my phone order, to the delivery, to our surprised smiles when we opened the boxes, to just enjoying it now, I am actually blown away by how great an experience this was. I say blown away because buying inexpensive food, and sadly, pizza more often than not, feels like quite a gamble! We obviously were not looking to spend much on dinner, so I called to ask what their deals were for today. The woman who answered the phone and told me their special was friendly, courteous, and efficient. It seems like a lot of customer service we receive, in general, not from this place, is at best lack luster, at worst down right rude. Well, pleasant surprise tonight. The woman in the shop who took our order thanked me for 'being so nice' with a hint of a giggle in her voice. She said she'd just had a really rude customer. Didn't go into unnecessary details, just thanked me for being nice. I mention this because I feel that customer service people, maybe especially in the food industry, though I'm not sure about that, seem to be so affected by rudeness or lack of consideration from one customer encounter and allow that to taint all further customer encounters, be it for the day, or for the rest of the time they hold the position. For this woman to swiftly adjust from just having (possibly) been insulted by another customer to answering the phone with a fresh and friendly attitude is a real boon for this franchise. My impression is that they hire a solid work staff. Our pizza arrived, hot, within the stated 30 minute delivery wait time, and, while I only answered his call and didn't greet him at our door, my husband opened it, our impression of him was that he was very friendly. Another nice person! Management must be doing something right to keep these people happy. And if not, they were smart enough to hire happy people that reflect well on their business. Upon opening the box, our family agreed it was the best looking pizza we'd ever gotten from any Domino's anywhere. If we're having Domino's, we are typically in Kailua-Kona and Kona Brewery is having an event... The Domino's pizza there is not typically a first choice but does its job :). We don't go out of our way to order it. This pizza tonight was plentiful with cheese and toppings, 1 pep and olive and 1 pep and fresh garlic. And it tasted delicious! The sauce was good. The crust was good. It tasted fresh! It was so good that I really wanted to share our experience. Good work should be applauded. So, thank you, Solano Ave. Domino's, you gave us a great dinner and we will be ordering again and again.

I didn't expect much from Domino's but I was pleasantly surprised. I had the small personal pizza which tasted good and was reasonable. The staff were working very hard but still had time to be friendly.

Worst experience ever. I had placed an online order and paid upfront. I walked out of my house to pick up the order only after the tracker said Complete. When I reached there, the guy at the front said my order was missing and it will take 10 minutes for them to make a new one and they had me wait for at least another 45 minutes. At the end, he handed me someone else's order and found out that my order was sitting back there this whole time. And then he handed me the coldest pizza that was sitting there for last hour. I had said the name of the order at least 4 times - loud and clear. Never going back there again. Horrible customer service and pathetic management.

Very tasty pizza and cheez bread! They made my order accurately cuz I customized some meat and vegetables options. Will visit again. After home the pizza is still fresh and hot.

I've been working here for 2 years now so I know a little bit more about the store compared to most. The food here is fast, tasty, and affordable. My manager's special deal has always been a fan favorite, and there are lots of food items to choose from. I value the generosity from my hard working coworkers and I could not ask for any better people to work with as a team. Despite my overwhelmingly positive opinion, I know that it isn't perfect. Insiders, drivers, and customers alike make mistakes at times which is why I'm thankful for my team member's problem solving skills and patience as well as the friendly and understanding community which I am happy to make someone's day with a freshly cooked pizza.

Ordered a pizza, stuffed cheese bread and specialty chicken last night. When picking up from the store, I saw that no one was wearing gloves when prepped the food. I saw employees pick things up off the floor and return to work without washing their hands.Checked the food when I got home to find I was given a half order of both the chicken and cheese bread, and that the pizza was almost sauce less. Avoid the location.

Order ahead is a joke! Scheduled my delivery ahead of time and the order is more than an hour late (still waiting!) Called the store and their response was if it doesn't show up for another 20mins, gives them a call back and see what they can do about it. Thanks, but doesn't that just mean waiting even longer for a preordered order!?

Worst place ever !! 2nd time I order a pizza and they got my order wrong. Today I order a pizza like around 5:30 pm. Dominos driver called me around 7:00 pm he got my order. So I wait like 20 min and then I called dominos to see how long is going to take my order. The team member told my I have to wait like 30 to 45 min to get my order. I told him to cancel my order. We were so hungry and angry at this point. Come on !! Please !!

Mismanaged and we'll below average service and quality. The manager refused to give me paper plates on more than one occasion saying that they just run out. When I asked for napkins for pizza for 12 people he gave me 2 napkins, when I asked for more he gave me 2 more napkins. Pizzas were the worst I had, were thrown away and had to buy from elsewhere. Do not buy from this store.
