Very good food. Very clean, good service, efficient. Mini trio burgers and blackened salmon salad better than good.

Duo Grill is my go-to brunch spot in town. The food is excellent! My favorites are the Hash Brown Hill, the Salmon Scrambler and the Corned Beef Hash. I always leave so satisfied and excited for my next meal. The staff are all incredibly attentive and kind. Love this spot so much!

My recent visit to Duo Grill House in Albany left me with mixed feelings. If you're hungry and craving a substantial breakfast, this might be the spot for you. I opted for the Albany Scramble, which promised a hearty combination of sausage, bacon, and ham. While the dish delivered on quantity, it fell short of standing out. The scramble was okay, and satisfying if you're looking for a straightforward and filling breakfast, but it didn't leave a lasting impression. The atmosphere of Duo Grill House is pleasant, offering a comfortable setting for a morning meal. The service was great, and the staff was friendly, enhancing the overall dining experience. While the breakfast didn't wow me, I'm open to giving Duo Grill House another shot for dinner. Perhaps their dinner menu holds the key to unlocking the full potential of this establishment. If you find yourself in the area and hungry for breakfast, it's worth a visit, but I'll be back to explore other offerings on a different occasion.

I had a great burger and my partner had a picata. Food was made with care and the service was great. Outdoor seating for my dog as well!

I've been here a few times now and ethically could not walk away this last time without talking about the eggs Benedict. The eggs were poached to perfection, the whites so light and airy that they could have been mistaken for whipped cream. No weird "boiled egg" taste either - it was like eating a cloud. This provided the perfect medium for the hollandaise sauce, which was also delicate and not overly eggy. Ultimately, nobody was stealing the show from the perfectly runny-but-not-too-runny yolk. If there weren't so much on their menu I'm still dying to try, I would order this EVERY time.

Ordered the chicken and waffles, very disappointing seemed like frozen chicken strips and costco frozen belgium waffle with nasty fake syrup, Hard to believe a restaurant would serve thisso many better options around the east bay..

My wife and I came here for lunch during the week. The food was good and pretty reasonably priced for Berkeley. My wife got the eggs benedict with potatoes and I got a burger. The burger was excellent, with great flavor and a very fresh tasting bun. The fries tasted like they came from a McDonald's, which was mind-blowing. Really good! The eggs benedict were well cooked and my wife liked them. The potatoes were very crispy and well made. The service was okay, we were left for a few long periods without refills on our drinks which was annoying given the relative dearth of other customers in the place. But once they saw we were looking for help, they came around to help. The ambiance is good. It's clean and well lit. Feels like it's pretty fresh and not worn in yet, if that makes sense. I'm hoping to come back a few more times to see how it holds up.TL;DR: A nice diner with good food, good prices, and okay service.

We ate here for lunch and had a salmon Cobb salad and fish & chips. Both dishes were good. The restaurant was very pleasant.

Really responsive service. Enjoyed the duo scrambler and another time the smoked salmon scrambler. For lunch the salmon BLT is absolutely delicious. Of note is that they will crisply cook the breakfast bacon and potatoes if asked. So few places do.

The diner is reducing it's hours and only doing breakfast now. The food taste like it's going out of business. Overcooked everything on the plate, burnt marks on sausage, hash browns, and eggs were over medium when requested Sunnyside up. No refill on drinks, only 1 other customer in restaurant while I ate at 11:15 A.M. Place feels like it's going out of business, as a result I don't think there is any passion going into making the food. Go elsewhere with your appetite and your money.
