We wanted to try a spot, but will not return here. Seems like a nice casual spot... dishes were okay, the pad Thai was descent. Crispy spring rolls seemed a bit undercooked. Chang beer and Thai iced tea were cold, that was a major plus. The servers(owners?) might not have been in a good mood. We were out on a date night, it makes it uncomfortable when staff is rude. I left her a 20%+ tip to cheer her up.

This place is so good that it has become part of my weekly planning! The food is fresh, authentic, and tasty. The people are nice and kind, and the servings are generous. An easy place to recommend.

This is my go to place in the neighborhood for good Thai food - it's fast, affordable, and delicious! The staff are super sweet and make sure you get exactly what you want. We've eaten here countless times, both in person and carry out - pictured is pad Thai and suki yaki soup, but our other favorites include Panang curry, avocado salad, Tom kha soup, and chicken satay. They also have great Thai tea that's not overly sweet. I'm honestly surprised by the negative reviews. I think some folks might not like it because it's not super Americanized versions of dishes and the interior is not the most glamorous. Don't let that dissuade you, this place and it's owners are great!!

I love this place, it is always my go-to when I'm craving Thai! I always get chicken pad-Thai, spicy, and it is always delicious. I highly recommend!I've also tried most if not all of their non-fishy appetizers, and those were also delicious ?

Love the fried fish and green mango lemongrass sauce. I get the pompano. They fry the bones which you can eat. Just be careful. Also a big fan of the fish in curry mousse, not a common dish at other restaurants.Parking: Easy street parking

I dined at White Lotus for lunch on Saturday and it was INCREDIBLE! We ordered the green papaya salad, thai sausage, basil fried rice, hor mok, fish fried #5 style and pad woonsen. All the dishes were so fresh and flavorful. I was pleasantly surprised with the hor mok because the curried mousse description initially turned me off, but we ordered it anyway because my fellow diner said it was her favorite dish. And it did not disappoint!!!

Dumbfounded to find this highly rated restaurant serving the worst pad kee mow I've ever had. Why, why, why would you stirfry this with the Vietnamese-style chili sauce? Ew. It was awful. Tom kha w/ prawn was unremarkable, mushrooms were all raw. Old musky smell in here, very quiet night with only a couple customers. Infrequent check-ins with the staff who keeps busy in the back for a long time before coming out again.

Super fresh. Flavors are amazing and well developed. Not overly sweet, which I appreciate! Portions are very large and for a great price. I also love the ambience inside. This place is a win!

Absolutely delicious food, friendly and generous service, beautiful venue and ambiance. Massively under-appreciated local place. Please eat here, it's so good

It’s still the best food and service! Every dish is perfection. We always start with the Roti and curry and it just gets better from there. We finish off with a dessert like mango and sticky rice. Happy, happy!

This place has taken over as my favorite Thai restaurant in the East Bay. The food is authentically Thai. It's spicy as you would expect Thai food to be so. The flavors remind me of the flavors I've had in Bangkok with fresh peppercorns and other Thai spices. All the dishes that we ordered were very good from the Pad See Eew to the fried fish, deep fried so well that you can eat the crunchy bones. This place is not usually busy. I hope that it would be so that it could stay in business because we need a good Thai restaurant like this.

Probably one of my all time fave restaurants in this area. We've frequented White Lotus for years!! I had dinner here with my now husband 12 years ago when we just started dating and this restaurant is just as good *if not better* than it was then! Their service is always so great too! You can't go wrong with anything on their menu but our faves are the red duck curry, pad thai, and chicken satay skewers!

Mediocre. Had Mango fried rice with tofu. Good flavor but tofu dry and mango on too only and notcripebyet. Green curry - chicken fatty and dry.

With so many Thai restaurants around it’s easy to overlook White Lotus driving by on San Pablo, but it’s absolutely worth a visit for some of the best Thai in the East Bay. Try the hor mok, khao mok kai, and pork rib hung lay curry.
