I've heard of this place for a while and finally decided to try it out. i called ahead and got the pastrami cold cut sandwich on ciabiatta, no cheese, light on mayo. it was a surprisingly tasty, no-nonsense sandwich :)

If you want to go to a place and stand there while 3 people never acknowledge you so you leave, this is it!

We have been here a few times. Today the Tri tip sandwich was a 10 out of 10! Best I have ever had. Tender and juicy!! You have to try it!!!

Bread was hard as a rock, not cool! Got the sourdough - big mistake.

Zarris is always great! Family run, consistent, small operation, and always delicious!

It is music to my palate, when you come to Zarri’s and find in the simplicity of a local store , the quality that fully satisfies you. I had an amazing Tuna Melt with Fontina. The texture contrast between the bread and the contents was superb. The tuna contents where full of flavor! And In addition the person I was with, had a Lettuce Wrap, that could be considered a Keto nugget -Double Pastrami ( made in house), Provolone and Avocado. We felt at home and nourished .I am great full for places like Zarri’s, real people, real food and delicious!

So I'll start by saying I really, really try my best to give unbiased, factual reviews. With that said, Zarri's has unfortunately fallen to the wayside over the years. I'm giving three stars just due to the fact I have fond memories of coming here when I was younger. I really wish I could give them a better review, however, there are some things seriously lacking in their approach and in the products they offer for sell. The wait staff were standoffish and I'm not sure why. Upon my arrival I was met with Akward silence and blank stares. The counter person skipped me in line and attempted to serve the guy behind me as if I was invisible. Fortunately, the gentleman behind me spoke up and told her I was first in line. I wasn't going to say anything because I'm definitely not a confrontational person. The sandwich was just "Okay". There was really nothing of substance to mention. The sandwich wasn't horrible but the sourdough bread was hard and as sharp as glass (Cut my gums).Being one of the few old school delicatessens left in the area, I really want Zarri's to succeed! Please take this review to heart and perhaps learn from it and apply new business practices in the future.

Amazing find! Great customer service! Lovely store with a BASED deli. Can't wait to go back!

2.5 stars Ordered via Doordash. This review is for the Poor Boy Deluxe. Very subpar for an italian sandwich from a sandwich place. You get maybe 1 or 2 slices of each meat listed in the description with 1 slice of swiss cheese and 2 slices of cheddar wedged between two different slices of meat. The sliced "sour" bread tastes closer to buttermilk than sourdough. The overall effect reminds me of a mom's packed sandwich for school with ham and cheese.

Great place to get sandwiches. When I'm in the mood for a sandwich, maybe on a roll with the works, this place can't be beat. Fresh ingredients, great bread and rolls, quick clean service and friendly people behind the counter. Highly recommended.

I just discovered this place a couple months ago. I work across the street at the acupuncture clinic and was looking for a good lunch spot in the neighborhood. Now I'm a regular and highly recommend their sandwiches. They appear to be a family owned business, and all the folks that work here are very kind and courteous. They make fantastic sandwiches, and the prices are very reasonable. I joined yelp just so I could write them a good review. Please go support this wonderful local business.

Forgot about this place for years. It's still there. Hasn't changed. Great deli with imported grocery products, too. Long list of sandwiches with decent prices and servings. They ordering process is old school- go around the edge counter-clockwise to the register-kinda like Starbucks where you alway go by the cold case. It's worth it.
