If you're looking for a sushi experience that's both delicious and affordable, look no further than Orange Tei at the Anaheim Packing House. Their new hand roll bar is a fantastic addition to the already-impressive menu.I had the pleasure of trying out several of their hand rolls, including the tuna, yellowtail, and salmon varieties. Each roll was expertly crafted with fresh ingredients that burst with flavor in every bite. But the standout for me was definitely the salmon hand roll with garlic chips. The garlic chips added a unique and savory crunch that perfectly complemented the fresh salmon. What impressed me the most about Orange Tei's hand rolls was their affordability. Despite being comparable in quality to much more expensive sushi restaurants, the prices were more than reasonable. And with so many different varieties of rolls to choose from, there's something for everyone.

On a recent trip to Anaheim, one of my family members suggested we visit the Packing District. Upon entering the building, we were surrounded by a multitude of dining options! We all split up to grab a bite and I ended up choosing Orange Tei! I made this choice because I was craving sushi. I also love shrimp tempura and it was on the menu as well. The Orange Tei team member was super friendly and attentive and placed our order quickly. The sushi was very fresh and delicious and the shrimp tempura was perfect! I really enjoyed my lunch!

Just don't come here. Look at the orange tei roll...I have never seen salmon cut so thinly and so small for a sushi roll. The gyoza was kinda good, but since this is a sushi place, I'm focusing on the roll. Don't come here.

This place is horrible. No B******** The food wasn't good. The Karaage chicken was rubbery bland and flavorless. Their tuna salad is a joke very thinly sliced tuna 3 pieces that would be as one. The only three rolls they offer tasted like old sushi rice. For 90.00 bucks this was a huge disappointment.

Not gonna lie... one of the most disappointing ramen places I have been to (and I've been to a lot). The first time I had it I remember it tasting super salty yet not flavorful. When I came back the other day, my partner and I decided to split one since we were craving ramen and again, the broth was lackluster and the noodles were undercooked :( Plus the piece of char sui they give you is so sad, skinny, and small. Speaking of small, so are the portion sizes. I like that they use compostable to go containers however, their soup dish is not deep enough to fit everything. For the price you pay and the amount that you get, it is not worth it. I appreciate the worker trying their best, but the service was super slow. It took us 30 minutes to just get our food. They definitely just need to have more people on shift. Overall, pretty subpar.

Gyoza was very good and would get again. The shrimp tempura was good. But that were the good ended. The 2 rolls orange tei and double tuna roll were not good at all. Grocery store sushi would probably be a better choice than the sushi here.

Ehhhh. Not a fan of the ramen here. We ordered tonkotsu shoyu ramen. Taste was subpar. Portion was hella SMALL. You'll be hungry after eating your bowl of ramen. The pork slices it came with were so thin and skinny. Probably about 2.5 inches long each and so thin. Literally not even enough protein in this bowl it's kind of sad. Ramen itself was also a small portion. Do yourself a favor and go to an actual ramen spot. For the price you pay, it's not worth the amount of food. Next.

Orange Tei has been at Packing House since it opened, because I came here waaaayyy back in the early days. Last month I finally got around to trying it. Given the fast rotation of some other businesses I'm kind of surprised it has survived this long; the food is average tasting. We ordered a ramen and chicken karaage. Neither dish tasted bad, but they did not look like or taste like traditional ramen or karaage as we have had it at authentic Japanese restaurants, even the casual ones. I rarely see OT bustling, so if they'd like to continue competing for attention they could make some changes to food presentation. What we got looked nothing like the pictures.

The server/cashier is the slowest worker I have seen in my life. I have waited a WHOLE hour watching her stare at food she wants to package and leaves the ones she doesn't want to package, to the side. Hiroaki C.

Ramen is pretty awful :(. I ordered some steamed buns and since they didn't have them they just didn't include them in the order bag and didn't tell me. Didn't realize until after I got home. A bit of a disappointment of a place unfortunately since was really hoping it would rock since it's near by at the packing house.

Went to the Packing District on a Tuesday night. Was craving Japanese food so ordered at Orange Tei's around 7pm. A lot of items, almost 3/4 of their ramen and sushi, on their menu were no longer available/ sold out for the remainder of the night. Ended up ordering the Shrimp Tempura Roll and Kara Miso Ramen. Agree with most of the reviews here that the Ramen is very salty. It wasn't unbearable but definitely felt off. The flavor was pretty good i enjoyed it. The shrimp tempura roll was not great. Kind of just thrown together and the rice was almost falling apart because it was refrigerated for too long i believe. I think going here earlier would be better so menu items are more fresh and there are more options :-)

もし日本人であるなら絶対に行かないでください。As someone who grew up in Japan I try to keep low standards for ramen restaurants in the U.S but this was something else.
