I drive 30 minutes to this place (and the other location on Bolsa Ave) specifically for one thing: chicken pho (pho ga). I specifically get the white meat chicken separate from the soup (beef broth). It comes with some type of dipping sauce (I think it's a mixture of garlic and fish sauce) -- amazing! Like most authentic restaurants in Westminster, it's a hit or miss on the service. As long as you know what to expect service-wise, you won't be disappointed. Be friendly and enjoy the food! They also have a location on Bolsa Ave -- the quality is consistent between both locations!

Service is very very bad. Im order on the phone they said around 15 or 20 min but they give me wait 30 min and when I ask them. They said they do wrong . The restaurant only one custumer and they do wrong thats really funny

First time back since covid, what the hell happened to this place?? They redecorated the upholstery, which is all well and good, but I didn't come to admire the couches. The menu is one double-sided page now. It used to be like a book. They have two sizes: Small and large. Small should be renamed "kids size" and the large is not much better. Their pho used to be the best place in town, size XL bowls and would get so full that I couldn't walk out properly. The bill was $20, I left hungry and very disappointed. I almost went to Carls Jr next door just to top-off. Oh well.

We stumbled across this place by accident. I was really looking for a different place in this shopping plaza. The GPS navigator said I had arrived so I parked and did not notice that I walked into the wrong store. Ordered the Pork Chop plate and Pho Bo. Very disappointed. I'll pay better attention next time.

After searching for open restaurants for half an hour (it was 7:30pm on a Saturday), we stumbled upon Pho Quang Trung. We didn't check any reviews and went in blind. We were seated immediately and ordered Bun Rieu(small) and Bun Bo Hue. Both were solid choices- on par with ones I've had in San Jose(my baseline for viet food). The bun Rieu was a little strong on the tomato flavor, but I'm a fan of tomato! We also had a slightly weird request. We had just finished shopping in the area and needed fish sauce for later meals at home. We asked the waiter if we could buy some fish sauce from the restaurant because we didn't know how to mix it at home and were down to our last resort. He thought about our strange request for a second and said they don't sell fish sauce BUT he could give us some to take home for free! We accepted thanked him profusely for it! We ended up with a to-go container half full with fish sauce and the restaurant ended up with a generous tip! This place now holds a very dear spot in my heart for 1- being one of the only open places, 2-having great food, and 3-being sympathetic enough to give us free fish sauce!

This place hit the spot after a long trip. My girlfriend and I ordered the pho ga. The pho is nothing special, but it does the job. I know what I want out of pho and this restaurant delivers on that front. If you want to get a good pho, I recommend this spot.

The pho here, especially the chicken, is very good. It is more traditional tasting pho with its savory flavors instead of the sweet broth like some of the newer pho places. The chicken pho offers very tender chicken breast or thigh meat. We usually get skinless chicken breast. So tender that chicken has to be fresh, not from frozen. The beef pho is good too. All pho comes in large or small and both are healthy portions. Drinks are good including the Vietnamese ice coffee. The service is pretty good, quick and direct to the point. Do be aware the restaurant is a little outdated and worn but really, you are there for the food. Recommend.
I always come here when I crave their stir fried noodles with beef because I can't get over how good it is and my boyfriend loves their pho and it comes out fast. My parents don't really like this place but I do because I always get the same thing to eat every time and it never disappoints. There are so many other things they have here, they have rice dishes that I usually get, there's the charbroiled pork chop or their KBBQ short ribs but I'm not so sure if they have that one on the menu anymore but everything else is good

2022 JAN UPDATE. STILL our favorite spot. The reason we prefer this pho bo is because it's savory vs.sweet. Has all the spices of pho bo... but doesn't ruin it with that sugary/msg taste. Pho ga is also fantastic.

I live in the Irvine/Newport area, and will drive all the way to bolsa for a delicious bowl of phở gà lòng trứng non. The service is good, the prices are very reasonable, and the portions are generous. I usually order take out, and it's always ready by the time i arrive. They also pack it perfectly, so I don't have to worry about broth spilling all over the place. Side note: the parking lot is so busy, and the people around here drive like maniacs. (You have been warned, so be careful) Anyhow, I would recommend this spot to anyone who needs to satisfy their pho cravings... Sure, it took me 30 min to get here from where I live, but it was oh so worth it.

Haven't been in 10 years, so me and my son decided to stop by to try it again. The food was absolutely amazing, the broth was rich and refreshing, for some reason the thai tea found here was better than some boba places I've been too, overall this place is really a hole in the wall but it's damn good 5 out of 5.
