I'm a little hesitant to write this review as I kinda feel like this is a local's little secret, but in the spirit of giving credit where credit is due, here I go...Let me start with not all Foster Freeze locations are created equal. So this review is specific to the Tracy Ca location only. The food is always fresh. I have never, not even once, had any of their fried food that tasted like old dirty frying oil. Everything is always cooked to perfection. The restaurant is always in tiptop shape and the service is unbelievably fast for as busy as they get. The food is always great and exactly what you would expect from this type of restaurant. The prices are incredibly low, in fact I'm not even sure how they keep them so low, but I'm not complaining. To give you an idea, just a couple days ago my son and I stopped after I picked him up from school. I ordered 2 Parfaits, 2 corn dogs and 1 large fry. My total was $12 and some change. How awesome is that. That would have been at least $20 , probably more, at any other place. Writing this review is making me hungry, I think we will be making a pit stop at Foster Freeze today :)

When he sold it just recently. I went there twice and it was a disaster. My husband and I went to get a twister. They never mix the candy in the ice cream just topped it. Then I took my granddaughter there oh what a mess that place was. Cook was cooking and throwing the paper that separates the ? on the floor. 2 guys there and paper all over the floor. You could see it trailing to the back and the back looked a mess. This was like 3 months ago

food was not worth the $45 bucks spent on a milkshake, 3 burritos French fries and a Coke. way too expensive for food that only makes you die faster . in my opinion .

What is going on .Did Fosters in Antioch close.? Their open sign is on , open sign in window but not open. Looks like they left in a hurry???

Sorry am giving a 2 star,I've been going to Foster freeze Antioch for over 20 years and have been going for a reason that the food and icecream was always delicious! I recently went and got some icecream dipped in chocolate and was not up to par like it has been!,I didnt complain and thought I would give it another shot. Today I had family go and get me my dipped cone while I waited in the car and when I got it the icecream it tasted funny also they only half dipped my icecream making it melt faster and fall apart.Thank you for reading my concern! Please address this issue thank you for your time!

Foster Freeze has new owners now they are so money hungry ordered a large fly pay $3.50 and got 10 french fries order a large strawberry milkshake they used a teaspoon to add the strawberries and doesn't even taste like strawberries I ordered a small dipped cone for my wife they use the same spoon to put chocolate on her ice cream cone that barely had any could hardly taste it will never go back

Ok our 1st option was DQ unfortunately their ice cream machine was out of commission (yeah, go figure!) & take about 25-30mins to start back up. I don't know.. Anyways I haven't been to foster freeze in years. I don't hold high standards of these small franchise locations anyway but ok it's just ice cream right? Order: 1 med Triple berry ch. Ect ect 1 lg Triple berry ch ect ect 1 hot fudge sundae add crushed pineapple 1 med oreo twister 1 large caramel shake 2 lg fries First off u can't hear ANYthing their a small 1x1ft window being on a busy street cars racing through yes that's out of their control I understand. My "hot" fudge sundae was just chocolate syrup not the hot fudge unless their fudge is runny and NOT hot. Then the berry cheesecake ice cream were basically still white and nothing like the pictures, ok let me give them a break because marketing is notorious for exaggerating presentation & ok fine. When I ordered 2 fries it came out as mediums but i said large, i checked receipt and it said medium. Ughh maybe my suggestion is to invest in one of those intercom/mic combination things that would be a plus for business! I rarely have this hearing or miscommunication with dairy queen and they are literally on the same street but why is the noise louder at FF? I don't know. But let me tell you! When my husband pulled this hair out of his Large (closed sith a lid) Triple Berry Cheesecake twister that brought me to make this review! Forget that my ice cream was equivalent to the lowest generic brand vanilla at the grocery store. Nevermind the long wait. Nevermind the wrong size fries. The HAIR was disgusting! Almost halfway in and it was right there almost baked into the piece of the crust of the cheesecake. Unless the ice cream mixer thing just blended it together. Ugh next time we hitting the store and buying and making our own splits & sundaes.

So they can’t dip the chocolate ice cream now??? That’s is a very lame excuse and having ro put it in a cup. Sad, the only reason I can tonight was for my chocolate ice cream dip in chocolate. Not ok Foster Freeze you need to fix it. ??

New owners not sure if they have a clue.. Not as good as it used to be I got a swirl cone in a bowl if that ses anything and they took what seemed like 30 minutes to get the food out
