Considering the price the food was below average. The orange chicken seemed like it was sitting out for over 8 hours and was very doughy

Wow!!! This was a great experience! I ordered fried rice and chow mein with orange chicken and shrimp. He gave an ENORMOUS amount that lasted me for two meals?
Not only this, but it was some of the best Chinese I’ve ever eaten. I couldn’t stop marveling about how good it was. Absolutely packed with flavor and nothing was dry.
The man behind the counter was very friendly and let me try the spicy orange chicken to see if I would like it.
Well done! Keep up the good work!

I can't speak to the Chinese food, but these people know how to cook beignets!!!! Coming from New Orleans, I know beignets. These Avalon beignets are perfectly cooked. I think I just ate a perfect beignet! Well done!
We have also eaten quite a few breakfast sandwiches here. They are affordable, quickly prepared and tasty. Great place to stop after riding the ferry.

Worst choice ever going here. Went at 6pm, they close at 7. Very few dishes left out and what was out was very old and dried out and and as my sone said, "nuked to death". Asked if I could have one of the dishes that was actually empty and they said the kitchen was closed so it was just what was out, an hour before closing time. I went against my better judgement and got a dish that was out and ended up spending $46+ on 2 1 item meals and 2 small drinks. The meal was inedible in it's current state and went into the trash. What a massive waste of food and money. Don't go or maybe only early in the day.

Beignets hit the spot. The beef chow mein was AMAZING. So much better and affordable than some of the bland tasting food at more expensive restaurants in town.

We were walking around Avalon looking for breakfast and couldn’t stomach paying 20 dollars each for breakfast. We came across Mrs. T’s and saw they had 12 dollar breakfast burritos and croissant sandwiches. We were blown away with how big and delicious they were. My wife said this was the best breakfast burrito she’s had since moving to california.10 out of 10, the best breakfast option on Catalina.
The rice is very bad, the Chicken orange is very bad, the only thing that is moderately good is the Kung Pao shrimp.

$19 for really bad Chinese. We had the Orange chicken and Kungpao Shrimp. Really greasy, small portions, and expensive and too salty. The orange chicken was really dry too. I can barely cook and I can make better Chinese. “This might be the worst Chinese I’ve ever had,” according to the girlfriend.
Great place! If they only had more places to sit, this place would beat them all breakfast places.nice selection of breakfast dishes!

Mrs. T's Chinese Kitchen and Avalon bakery is the takeout Chinese choice for the resort town of Avalon. The food was delicious and plentiful. They have several ready to go dishes. A combo + 1 is one of the roughly dozen or so main entrees and chow main noodle and fried rice. Prices are about $15 for a combo + 1 and $16 for a combo +2. A large takeout box of something they need to cook up takes about 10 minutes. There's no seating, it is takeout only. Open from 11:30 AM to 7 PM. Prices for anything in Avalon is resort pricing, so relatively speaking this is not an expensive place to get a good tasting, filling hot meal on the island. Not far from the waterfront, but still within the area you can drive your golf cart to.
That is the only Likeli Chinese food I found today at this island. Lo mein, fried rice, entry combo I really Recommend . I ate a lot of America fast food and raw seafood recent 2days. Less greased Chinese food makes me feel comfortable
Outside dining only, by street, old music piped out there. Food is not good…. Looked dry, & unappealing but my in Law wanted Chinese so tried to play it safe by ordering rice & spring rolls…. Ugh! How do you mess up spring rolls and rice …. By over cooking it and not offering fresh food…. Go elsewhere
We had heard there was a bakery in Catalina that sold Beignets. We hunted all over, asked several locals (who didn't know) and finally found the sign outside a Chinese Take out. They advertised Hot, Fresh, Beignets three for $5.00. We ate three orders.
If you've got some Chinese food cravings, this place will hit the spot. $15 for a 2 plate combo and the dishes were surprisingly good. There are a few tables outside. The orange chicken looked a little concerningly red but turned out to be great :). 5/5 ⭐ for a small Chinese spot
