“Lyra Lou Cakes, crafted by the talented Arpita, is a confectionery haven. The cakes, including the delightful cupcakes I ordered, are a testament to Arpita's culinary prowess. Lyra Lou masterfully blends flavors, creating a symphony for the taste buds. The cupcakes, in particular, were a miniature masterpiece—each one a burst of sweetness and artistry. Arpita's dedication to her craft is evident in every bite, as I ordered cakes before as well than special mention Aman , Prabh, Arpita and Lyra making Lyra Lou Cakes a go-to for those seeking an extraordinary dessert experience.”

“From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the stage for a wonderful dining experience.About the food – the lamb and A5 wagyu were nothing short of phenomenal. Bursting with flavor, each bite was a testament to the restaurant's dedication to sourcing the highest quality ingredients from around the world. And the cocktails? They were the perfect accompaniment to the meal, expertly crafted and incredibly refreshing. But what truly made my visit memorable was the impeccable service, courtesy of Sam, one of the supervisors. Her friendly and attentive demeanor elevated the dining experience to another level, making me feel like a valued guest from start to finish.I can't wait to return and indulge in their mouthwatering dishes and delightful cocktails once again!”

“Cart Service Dimsum is back! Tucked away in a small hole-in-the-wall location in Northwest Austin, New Fortune has re-homed it's nostalgic and still very tasty, dimsum menu at the former location of Jenna's Chinese Restaurant (also formally North and South China). Those of who remember their cart service, finally have a place to return and be greeted by carts of wonderful appetizer sized, shareable plates of goodness. The caviat, and what most people fail to realize, is that this is a SOFT opening and with ANY soft opening, this is the time where they find the wrinkles and try to iron them out before formally having their grand opening. They're still working out the exact flow of the carts, their available menu and trying to hire staff. Keeping those things in mind, here's my honest opinion of the food, the atmosphere and its potential. The Food:The food is exactly as I remembered prior to the pandemic.. DELICIOUS! My party and I had ALMOST every offering that their carts toted:Steamed shrimp dumplingsSteamed pork dumplingsFried shrimp ballsTurnip CakeFried taro rootSesame ballsBbq pork Steamed bunsEgg custard sweet steamed bunsBbq pork mini triangle pastriesEgg custard tartsShrimp RangoonSalt and pepper Fried tofuSalt and pepper Fried shrimpWalnut shrimpChicken sticky riceChicken feetShrimp and leak dumplingsPork pot stickersChicken and leak dumplingsChinese broccoliFried egg rollsCongee with Chinese fried long donut(not sure what it is in English)Steamed pork spare ribsSoup-filled steamed dumplingsWe didn't get the steamed tripe, the long noodles with shrimp, the jelly dessert and a couple other things, but the majority of their menu we had on our table. The Atmosphere:The atmosphere was electric, chaotic, loud, noisy and obviously busy... all the hallmarks of an authentic Cantonese dimsum establishment. You'll see familiar faces. Many of the servers and hosts returned for the opening and are happy (albeit stressed) to be working at the family owned restaurant again, one server even came out of a 5 year retirement to be a part of the re-opening. Don't be surprised to find the restaurant owners and/or family members, literally running around the restaurant trying to accommodate everyone and make their patrons happy. I'm not saying that they have everything under control yet. There are many times were the carts didn't come around to our table and if they did, sometimes without items that we wanted, so they do run out of items as the service progresses. (Helpful hint, if you see something on a cart that you want, but dont want it until later, just get it and save it, especially if it's a dessert, the item might be available later).Potential:The parking sucks and parking on the adjacent residential streets isnt uncommon. Right now, the service is slow, it's undeniably slow. The wait after the restaurant initially becomes full, is nuts...the wait ranges from 45 minutes to 2 hours. The food carts might not come by your table often and when they do, might not have what you want. But when New Fortune gets the logistics of cart routes, item pars, and their staffing in order, it's going to be FANTASTIC. The first two are going to be the easiest to troubleshoot and fix, but the staffing will be difficult. I'm not sure what they can do about the parking, but other than those key things, New Fortune has the potential of becoming THE go-to dimsum restaurant that it once was prior to the pandemic. I certainly hope they fix these issues sooner than later, but until then, I'll continue to enjoy frequent the restaurant whenever I can.”
“This hotel is perfect for a weekend getaway. All of the staff, to include random service people, who we would see in elevators, ect were so welcoming. This hotel provides superior hospitality.”

“Great new location. Nice patio overlooking Crown Hill Park! Food wasn’t as good as other locations, pretty sure they forgot to put cheese in the quesadilla. I think one bite maybe had some? I didn’t take it back up. Will probably give it another shot one of these days bc of the patio. Here’s hoping the food is better next time.”
“This restaurant is fantastic! The food, the drinks and the vibes are so fun. Shoutout to Juan for hooking us up at the bar. The LA tech company said in a blog post that " restaurants can hike prices 10-20% during busy hours, forcing customers to pay additional $1-$2 for a typical $10 menu item."
