Open outdoor patio was on the cool side bordering unpleasant. No heaters in sight. Brunch menu today - settled on brisket breakfast tacos and chicken & waffles. Brisket tacos won!

Good food and great place to bring family to eat!

This place is the Best the baby back ribs are off the hook I meen bone hahaha n the banana pudding with vanilla wafers o m g ???☝?? THE BEST jus go here n find out on your own.

The food wasn’t great! Mac and cheese was bland... too much vinegar in the greens and ribs were unseasoned and not fully cooked. I was truly dissatisfied and disappointed because the food used to be awesome.

Placed my order online, it did not give me the option to pay online, but said my order would be ready in 15 min. So I tried calling and it was busy. So I went to the restaurant 30 min later (figuring there was no way my food- I ordered $200 worth of food- would all be ready in 15 min. When I walked in I was greeted and the the first thing I said was Im pretty sure your phone is off the hook, sure enough right there in front of me was the phone off the hook. I told the lady that was pretty frustrating, Ive been calling trying to verify my order, and she asked me what the name was for the order. When I told her the name, she replies, we just put your food out- right before you walked in. I then asked if I could add some hushpuppies to my order- since we couldnt find them on the online menu. I asked how long it would take (remember the $200 worth of food now sitting in my car getting cold by the min) and she says oh just a few min. Well 20 min later I am finally in my car headed home to eat my now cold food. My fault for adding the hush puppies. Lesson learned. Masks were not proplerly being worn. I watched the manager walk in with customer drinks and oull his mask down while he refilled the drinks and then put it back on when he walked away....

BBQ at this place - super good. It's so delicious. I think I might become a regular. It has an awesome atmosphere.

Decided to come here with my daughter after I called and I was told there was no waiting. We arrive and only one family was waiting to be seated. They get seated within a few minutes. More people start showing up and after about 20 minutes the host approaches me and asks "how many people?" I say 2 and he just leaves. Never came back. Other family waiting after us asks me how long we've been waiting and mentions that nobody is even bothering to tell us how long is wait time. I notice that all the people that have already been seated have not been served their food. Strange when it wasn't even full capacity. My daughter complains to me that nobody is even helping us and she wants to leave, so we do. Where was the service? None at all. Shame

Outdoor dining is available. I will give one star for the food because due to pandemic it’s very limited. But since the menu is so limited you would think the food would be great. Well it was not. I had the catfish which was very bland and the cornbread was dry and had no taste at all. Cocktail list is small so don’t get your hopes up because your better off with a soda or sweet iced tea.Noticed our waiter would come out once in a while to come out and top off our drinks, since they were short staffed. Very understandable, But the manager there seemed to be picking who they want to serve (which is their own kind) and have conversations and checking how their meal is, etc.Better service and food taste in Long Beach location.

Genuine Southern cooking. Generous portions. Good service. We had a delightful lunch in their outdoor seating. No waiting this Sunday afternoon when we came ??

I have to say I was very unhappy with the burnt ends. I got this advertisement and came to eat the burnt ends and they were in no.way burnt... carmelized... nor juicy and I am in no way beggin for more. It was the most plain bbq burnt end I have ever had.I do not recommend at all... save your $$. Not happy with Johnny Reb's.It is my opinion and I urge you to be your own judge but I did warn you.

Great food and good service plus you get to kiss the pigs butt on your birthday!

I have been going to Johnny Rebs in Orange until they recently closed. We decided to do a to go order from their Bellflower location. When I got home it appeared that BBQ sauce was on sale that week. All the meals were completely covered in sauce and you could not even taste the flavor of the meat. The fried chicken was under cooked. I recommend that you check your food first if it's a to go order. If you eat at the restaurant, I'm sure that you will enjoy your food as I have in the past.

Awesome food, helpful staff, always excellent vibes. They charge affordable prices and the food quality is great. 5 stars.

Great place to enjoy the food from during these times, kudos on service too! So yummy!
