I discovered this cafe today and love it! It opens onto Adeline and it's bright, cheery, and artsy. The guy working there was working really hard and knew half the customers who came in. There's a great variety of breakfast sandwiches and lunch-type sandwiches. I had the chicken salad sandwich which was bursting with flavor. My sandwich and a drink were only $10.

Came for a slow morning coffee and breakfast. Had a nice breakfast bagel with cheese egg and avocado. Nicely toasted. Latte was big and very hot. Enjoyed it and would like to come back to try their Vietnamese sandwiches

May 2021: I've always walked past this place for the past few months since I had appointments in the building, but I finally went in today to grab something to eat and I'm so happy I did. I ordered a pork bahn mi (Vietnamese sandwich on the menu) and a thai tea and damn, they're were both delicious. I didn't get a chance to take a good photo of the thai tea since I drank it so fast, it was really really good! The cafe has nice artwork on the wall and the man behind the counter was so kind! I wished I could've eaten here sooner, but now I know where to get thai tea and a bite to eat after my appointments ?December 2021: finally took a photo of the Thai tea before I drank it all. Very delicious, 10/10. Even on a rainy day, this place still feels homey and nice!January 2023: update, still delicious! Some prices went up by 60 cents to a 1 dollar but still worth it. All his ingredients are fresh and this is probably my favorite homemade Thai tea in the Bay. This place is a hidden gem and owner is still as nice as ever, 12/10!

How the person behind the counter keeps up with the traffic flow is wild! Definitely deserves some recognition! Also, the Tofu Bahn Mi is great!
I have walked by this place dozen's of times. I have never felt compelled to go in but today my boss and i decided to give it a try and omg i am so glad we did! So delicious! The owner was so friendly and funny. We left happy and satisfied. I definitely recommend! oh and did i mention how affordable it is?!

O stars Pros -My friends like the smoothies and coffees -Cafe located inside my office building, BUT I walk about a block and a half to get to another cafe where they are friendly and sanitary. I only came here because my office wanted something quick, other than that I would never spend a dime at this joint! Cons -Ridiculous attitude problem and so very rude towards me. -TOUCHES HIS PHONE ALL DAY, PROBABLY EVEN GOES TO THE BATHROOM AND NEVER EVER WASHES HIS HANDS!!!! NOT OKAY!!! -USES THE SAME GLOVE ON ONE HAND THE WHOLE DAY but still touches the food with his dirty hand -SHORT TOWARDS THE WOMEN, FRIENDLIER TOWARDS THE MEN Conclusion: If you're not concerned about Covid, Hepatitis, or anything else that can be transmitted through unsanitary hands, then come here, because he don't care how he prepares your food. But one things for sure, you won't get any soap in it because he DOES NOT WASH HIS HAND EVER. I can't believe it. I don't know who chose this man to run this establishment for these types of offices, but someone could end up very sick behind the lack of sanitation. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED. If things do not change the health department may need to be called. We serve a vulnerable population in this office and this is honestly not right that they let someone with these practices continue on in a building that primarily serves health compromised individuals!

Great local place to support! The thai tea is delicious, banh mi is a must order, and bagel sandwich was flavorful and filling. Called in a phone order and it was ready within 10 min! New menu with updated prices also.

Good cafe for quick bites. They have outlets and a few tables so it's a decent place to work or chill for a bit. They don't have restrooms which is kind of a bummer. The server was really kind and friendly and I would come back just to say hi to him.
