They had stale food—we found worms in the chutney! So disappointing.

Really bad experience, 0/10 would not recommend. Most of the food was burnt or seemed to be previously frozen. Generally lacking flavor. Gave us the wrong dish, forgot to give us napkins or water or silverware. Very unprofessional as well.

Most horrible place you can imagine. Run away. Food was stale, unhealthy, unhygienic. Paneer Tikka had no Paneer! Palak paneer was stale. Biryani was smelling bad. Same guy taking order was running into kitchen and cooking. Service was a disaster! Really spoiled the evening. Never again!

Chef Tony's is the best. Delicious food. Amazing service. Would highly recommend I have never been anywhere like this.

Homophobes. The owner and a worker were standing out front and inviting everyone in and then saw me and my partner and the owner said to his worker "no not them dont invite them" and then they both proceeded to scowl at us just holding hands and minding our own business.

Believe it or not this place has tacos and the al pastor tacos are incredible! And the guy making the tacos is really nice! The only thing is, only cash for the tacos.

Check the buffet food before you start! I called and was told all kinds of chicken dishes, lamb and fish, came in and there were samosas that looked like from yesterday, a tiny amount of curry chicken, basmati rice and garbanzo bean dish, spinach dish, carrots and peas and one soupy dish, weren't even hot, the guy said he'll bring the tandoori chicken and lamb still being cooked, so I started and told him that I want garlic naan(which was really good), then he brought out the tandoori chicken (2 pieces of big drumsticks ) no red color and rather bland in taste and not thoroughly cooked and when I mentioned it he wanted to bring more which I told him not to, then the "chef" came out and asked how's everything so I asked where's the lamb dish? His answer was the lamb ran away, can you believe that? I'm a paying customer and the reason I came was the promised different dishes! Then the Indian guy said to me to come back tomorrow where he's gonna have everything else, I was like, for real? Then I paid for the buffet and they charged me $2 for the garlic naan (everywhere else is free!) Not worth the money!

Food was great, but the service was even better. The owner was very friendly and offered me a free cup of tea while I was waiting for my order. Menu has a lot of variety too! Definitely recommend giving it a try if you are in Berkeley.

My experience was totally underwhelming. Food was burnt and undercooked. The pictures on the website are deceiving and does not reflect the actual food. Here are some of the pictures of the burnt aloo paratha and undercooked dum aloo. I will totally avoid this place.
