I took the classic bobba milk tea. In comparison to any other bobba milk tea I have had, this was terrible. From tje bery first sip it tasted off. And the bobba was also a nasty texture. Just the worst tea I have ever had.

The drink I got was not what I had expected, which surprised me as I took my first sip. I got the Matcha tea and it tasted like grass. The texture was very weird as well. I was very disappointed because of my high expectations that I had due to the public opinion of the place.

It took the worker a long time to finish my drink, which was Oreo, when they finished I tasted a sip and I could say it was the worst boba I had tasted and I wanted to throw it in the garbage the moment I had gone home. Would not recommend for boba.

They are quick and I like their oreo boba.

drinks are much too expensive for such a small size, with the cup charge on top?also the random service fee?? service is super quick though, I imagine because they’re so expensive there aren’t many

Let's keep this simple. Pros and cons: + College student friendly hours: If you're craving some midnight snacks and drinks, Boba Ninja closes at 1AM Sun-Thurs and 2AM Fri-Sat. + Menu variety: They have several milk teas, fruit teas, lemonades, slushies, etc. to choose from. Topping selection is also decent. For food you can offer fries, wings, potstickers, tenders, spring rolls and more. + Popcorn Chicken: It's one of the few things I like from here. Good portions and always served piping hot. - Disposable cup charge: the city of Berkeley imposes a 25 cent fee on single-use cups, which is absolutely fine. The thing is, most businesses simply raise their prices to account for it and/or encourage their customers to bring in reusable drinkware. Boba Ninja does neither; they deceptively keep their prices low on the posted menu board, don't have the appropriate signage, and then tack it on at the end as an additional fee. I'm tired of my receipts looking like itemized hospital bills. What's the point of having a menu if the prices don't actually reflect what you will be charged in the end? Why don't you start adding a fee to cover the business license renewal then? - Terrible tea: Not a fan of the chalky texture. Which it shouldn't have, unless they're using powders. They gave a decent amount of boba though. It was almost on the mushy side but wasn't a complete disappointment. You're better off going elsewhere unless you're really desperate.

Located in the Durant food court area on the very busy Durant Ave, Boba Ninja is a small, unassuming boba shop across from Taco & Co. Orders are placed via the touchpad outside the shop, and is therefore cashless as far as I can tell.Ordered the Guava Slush w/ boba, and it was pretty refreshing overall. An okay option within Berkeley. Not the best, nor the cheapest. Order took about 15mins after ordering to be ready. And they charge a "Berkeley Disposable Cup Charge", which is not a charge I've seen at any other boba joints in Berkeley. Assuming this is due to other shops simply folding the fee into their total prices.

Boba is good, but prices are pretty insane. I paid $8 for one large drink lol

Quite literally, THE BEST POPCORN CHICKEN I'VE EVER HAD!!!! Make sure to add extra white pepper (in a shaker on the way out) on top of the chicken. The chicken was oily, juicy, tender, and overall absolutely amazing. Also, they give you so much chicken!!! We split it among 5 people, and it was enough! My dad, a native Taiwanese, said it reminded him of the street vendors of taiwan. I think that's enough explanation.Didn't try their boba (there are plenty of options around), but most definitely the popcorn chicken is a go to.

These guys are kings and queens of this establishment, their bobas, and pop corn chicken and other varieties of food items all cooked with a respectful manner and given on a time bases

Popcorn chicken is my favorite. Great place for late night snack. The boba is ok but isn't the best in Berkeley.

Their boba is okay; it's not the best here at Berkeley, but they're open late and it's inexpensive compared to most other places. Their popcorn chicken on the other hand... it's a must! The portion is huge and it's perfect for sharing with friends. I also like their fried squid. Would recommend
