Kombucha is literally amazing!! The best i've ever tried. I live about 30 minutes away from Berkeley location and i drive here to buy it because it is simply the best HOWEVER please please update your hours on yelp!! This is the 3rd time i've come and the place is closed when it is supposed to be "open". I've attached the video to show you. This is not right for your customers. Please update your hours on yelp. Ive recommended you guys to many people because of how good your kombucha is.

Highly recommend. Only lightly sweet, which is very refreshing from other kombucha. You can try samples to see which you want to buy. They also sell soap made with the leftovers from brewing to help reduce waste!

I discovered Boochman Kombucha at my local farmer's market, and I love the concept of re-usable growlers. Now, I can conveniently return my growler and try new flavors each week (or every few weeks, at least). The currant clove flavor is incredibly unique and unlike anything I've tasted from the kombucha at the supermarket. While Boochman's is less fizzy than other kombuchas I've tried, their kombucha is still refreshing and pleasantly sweet. I can't wait to bring back my growler to try a new flavor or even visit their taproom in Berkeley to get a kombucha flight.

I was pleasantly surprised when I found this place. I always thought that kombucha was supposed to be sour and distasteful. However when I arrived I was pleasantly surprised by the variety in flavors. I was greeted by the wonderful staff on who said I could try free samples of all the flavors I wanted before purchasing and needless to say I fell in love with all the flavors. I would recommend this place to anyone who typically doesn't like kombucha but is willing to give it a second chance. The place is homey and comfortable cute for a first or second or third date.

Tried to get some at the farmers market in Palo Alto and was confronted with extremely rude service. Would not recommend.

My family and I visit the stand at the Palo Alto Farmers' Market regularly and have always loved the kombucha and the teas available. We especially appreciate the friendly service we have always received from the staff! I noticed the negative review regarding the treatment of the Asian customer, and I have to say that has not at all been my own experience as an Asian myself.

Boochman Kombucha is my favorite one stop shop for my kombucha fix. The kombucha variety is excellent. I patronize the Palo Alto Farmers Market location and love it. The service is great. The young woman serving the kombucha is very pleasant. I am an African American consumer and sometimes it can be difficult to be treated as an equal customer. But the woman at the stand is so nice. I really feel welcomed at her booth. And she’s great to chat with too. ❤️

Betul. at the PA market is the most attentive to each and every customer.. sometimes u might have to wait a few minutes but it’s really worth it when she gets to you. Quality PR! And the kombucha, so great, not so sweet like the commercial ones…

We're regulars in Palo Alto Farmers Market, and Boochman Kombucha is a highlight of our Sunday market trip, staff is extremely friendly, especially to the kids. Kombucha is of the highest quality, as well as their soaps – soft, smooth and smell nicely. From our kid: I love kombucha. ?

After watching the sugar grams creep up in store bought kombuchas, I was overjoyed when Boochman opened a booth at our Palo Alto farmers market. Their kombucha is excellent! They have NOT caved to popular demand. I could learn to make my own, but I already make several ferments, don’t want the responsibility of caring for a scoby, and Boochman’s flavors are the best! There is almost always a fast moving line at the Boochman booth. Betul, who is usually there, knows all the repeat customers - those like me w empty jugs in need of a refill. And like me, we all look forward to our few moments of interaction. Betul always has a friendly smile and, since I overhear the brief conversation ahead of me, I’m aware she has a personal connection with most customers. It seems we all look forward to visiting the Boochman booth. Even first/timers value her descriptions of the flavors. I especially appreciate that Betul (or whoever is there) will hold my ‘booch in a cooler while I shop the market, so I don’t have to deal w the now heavy jug. Boochman - superb ‘Booch and a great vibe.

I came for the spicy mango Kombucha. I tried the flight of 4 distant kombuchas and it was the only one I really liked. I like a Kombucha that is more sour/vinegary. This Kombucha is very mild and just tasted like tea with some flavoring. Not much fizz, was a bit flat. Overall, I enjoyed the experience. The owner was very nice and also gave us some nuts to snack on. I don't think I'd come back but I think a lot of people might enjoy this place.

This is a must for all boochaholics and non-boochaholics alike. Was really excited to try this kombucha and it didn't disappoint - eclectic flavors (how about currant and clove), very light and just with a touch of sweetness (am personally not into strong, vinegary and sweet kombucha), so this checked off all the marks for me.Was hoping to try the amazingly looking food, but with the pandemic and all, they had to suspend food production/service, however Numan informed me they're going to bring it back soon, so I'll have another reason to come back. Am glad they actually survived the last 2 lost years ...Numan, the Boochman himself, was a great person to talk to as well.

I haven't been to their actual storefront but I have been buying their kombucha every week for over 2 years, now at the farmers market (for a while they were doing home delivery too). The kombucha is very good and affordably priced for what it is, plus you can keep reusing growlers and not using a bunch of containers. Their soap is also awesome, I got some today. I'm very sensitive to soap smells and don't usually like to use scented soaps but this soap actually makes me want to wash my hands more just so that they keep smelling like the soap.
