Reviews for Casa de Chocolates

Their chocolate is alright. Store experience: when we asked to try their mango chili chocolate, they told us they ran out. (Why couldn’t they open a new pack since there are plenty on the shelf?) When we decided to purchase three small packs, we unwittingly broke one (we didn’t notice we broke it), their sales boy came to us and told us that it’s their store policy for the customer to purchase any broken by them.

This little neighborhood gem off of College Avenue is still going strong! There was a steady flow of customers going in and out of the storefront while I was there! I stopped in today for a Frozen Mexican Hot Chocolate -- and the woman right before me ordered the non-frozen Mexican Hot Chocolate -- totally enjoying her drink at one of the two little tables outside the front door. The chocolate is rich and thick and has delicious Mexican spices blended in. You can order full review
I'm so happy I stumbled upon this chocolate shop. My boyfriend and I were immediately greeted upon walking in by the nicest worker who offered us samples on so many chocolates. The store is very comfy and beautiful, and the chocolates are delicious. We also got the frozen hot chocolate, which I'd definitely recommend for a rich, creamy treat that's not too sweet. If you're anything like me and are not familiar with Mexican hot chocolate, keep in mind that full review
