The cheesecakes are really good, a solid cheesecake. But you are spending so much for nothing. The personal cheesecake is $7 but its almost two bites. The cheesecake is good but nothing really makes them stand out. I would suggest going to Safeway down the way and buying an entire cheesecake for the same price. I mean if someone else is paying go for it, the strawberry is really good. If you are paying skip and save your money for something that isn't gonna wow you.

Discovered this little place the other day. I like how they have several sizes go choose from and many flavors. It's on the pricey side - about $7.50 for a small cheesecake but it's soo good. Highly recommend this place if cheesecake is one of your favorite desserts. I can vouch that the raspberry swirl, mango , and Jamocha fudge are great !

We came to the epicurious garden to get a gelato, but the lovely man behind the counter gave us a sample of the cheesecake and we ended up having to get both! The bourbon vanilla cheesecake paired fabulously with the earl grey gelato from next door. We'd come back for more for sure if we weren't moving away!

The cutest cheesecakes ever! I feel like these little things are perfect if you want a lil sweet thang that's not too overbearing or heavy. We got the Midnight and White, which was pretty good. Tbh not the best cheesecake I've had, and I felt like it was a bit on the crumblier side. It wasn't the rich and creamy cheesecake I was expecting, but still pretty decent and good proportion of oreo crumbs inside. But the cake is also not very cheap at like $7 for a small individual portion. Definitely smaller than your average slice. The babyquake trios are adorable, and I'll probably opt to get that next time since it's cheaper and you just get a lil taste.

What a great cheesecake find in Berkeley's Epicurious Garden! (Across from Cheese Board) Great service and helpful explanations about the high quality ingredients that go into these gems. Freshest cheesecake I've ever had! I tried the Tuesday special: buy-two, get-one-free Babyquakes Trio. I picked Key Lime, Cappucino, and plain. Exquisite! If you happen to make graham cracker crust pies at home, they also sell HOMEMADE graham cracker crumbs from high quality ingredients that are in a completely different league than the bad-tasting graham crackers typically available in grocery stores. I can't wait to come back to try their other flavors, or to pick up the larger size. (Maybe I'll share, maybe not!)

Yummy yummy yummy! Give these guys a try. I mean, who doesn't love cheesecake?! We tried the mango and Carmel and they were both to die for. The owner is super welcoming and know his stuff about cheesecake. They use fresh ingredients and make cakes in mini and larger sizes. This shop is the newest addition to the little food court. I'm def stopping here for my next dinner party.

I got the Matcha Green Tea mini cheesecakes for free for the Mother's Day promotion! I most likely wouldn't buy it with my own money though. The full size cakes are worth it though. The cakes were very light and not too sweet or overbearing. What made the cake probably the best was how creamy it was and I could tell that it's not just some artificial cheesecake. On the pricier side for a reason and good quality cheese is definitely expensive. Would come again!

My neighbor was telling me about CheeseQuakes opening soon at Epicurious Garden while I was in Summerlin. So after my first day back in bay area I knew I wanted some cheesecake. I ultimately come too early and they wasn't open yet so I left to Saul's. I remember there was a raw chocolate shop here, but I guess they decided to close it down. Today I got a personal size bourbon vanilla bean. These are stopping in fridge, but if you let it sit at room temperature around twenty minute it'll come out creamy smooth spoonful after spoonful. The crust is like no other not brick hard or sand soft just hold on together until spoon separation. Would like to see if they'll ship a box of twenty four back to vegas pack with dry ice overnight shipping. Get this. They even have loyalty card of buy ten get one free.

CheeseQuakes! takes over a chocolate spot in the Epicurious Garden. not much of a cheesecake eater, just random bites. stopped after wife discontinued eating cheesecakes.... offering: various flavors and sizes of cheesequakes. -eats:Triple Chocolate CheeseQuakes! minicake(7.5) didn't have much cream cheese texture nor a lot of chocolate flavoring. nor much of a crust that i can taste. note on package: "best by 3/19/20 when kept frozen in package" explains why cheesequake tasted bland. -ingredient list filled the entire space on bottom of cheesequake.... crumbs: -wouldn't buy this again.....

What a disappointment! I went there to try a savory item, but took one glance at the selection and nothing looked like it would even qualify as "day old." I asked the salesperson when they were made and he said about a week ago. If he'd said 2 weeks, I wouldn't have doubted that either. Since I'd made the trip there, I figured I had to try something, so I got the bourbon vanilla some reviews recommended. All I can say is it was average cheesecake. Didn't taste the bourbon, didn't like the gritty texture. Hated the price! So, bottom line, one star for the great location. But next time I'll walk right past CheeseQuakes on my way to the fantastic ice cream in the next stall.

4.5 stars because it was super delicious. We deducted 0.5 stars because it was a smidge too sweet. The cheesecake was light and creamy. We liked the crust, too. We looked at the offerings (3 bites in a package, 2 slices in a container, a small cheesecake, and we opted for the decent sized $18 cheesecake in the original flavor. To be honest, the three of us could have probably eaten the whole thing. We had to exercise considerable restraint in consuming only 55% We will be back.

Newly opened cheesecake shop in the Epicurious Garden food hall selling a variety of flavors of cheesecake made with high quality ingredients. This is their second retail location, with the first being in the Ferry Building, and there are also some other stores in the Berkeley area that carry their cheesecakes. They have a variety of sizes and flavors, including lemon champagne, homemade butterscotch, and candycap mushroom (!). They also sell graham crackers (with the cute name "just the crust"). The cheesecake here is very creamy, and I really liked it. In my friend's words "That cheesecake was so good!!!! It melted my sorrows away." We tried a mini cheesecake and a double slice in the following flavors: -Original SF - very very creamy, even more so than the other flavors. A bit sweet for me personally but still very good. -Bourbon vanilla bean - you can taste the bourbon in this, and there are flecks of vanilla bean throughout. Not as creamy as the original but the flavor was more interesting to me. Also a bit sweet. -Triple chocolate - very rich and chocolatey, and slightly less sweet than the other two flavors. Also very good. The one thing I didn't love was the price - a 4.25 oz mini cheesecake costs $7.25, and two 3 oz slices together cost $9.50. Even with the high quality ingredients I thought this was a bit steep.
