Best coffee in the bay area, probably in the world. Family owned. The only place I go. Not much more to say.

Great cold brew here. Some indoor seating and outdoor seating. Very busy on the weekends and lots of dogs

This establishment serves good cappuccinos with a broad selection of their own roasted beans available for sale on site. Good seating inside and outside with a loyal following as I’ve come to recognize regular patrons after a few visits. Coffee is strong - no weak stuff here. The powerful arabica aromas exuding within the small side space where 20 + types of beans are sold awaken the senses. Everyone seemed to be buying beans and a free cup of coffee is provided as a kind companion. Cool gear too.Parking: Or hard to find. Park a few blocks away and walk through nice neighborhood.

Service was unfriendly, we did not feel welcome to sit down and drink our coffee inside -- which felt odd for a cafe on a rainy Sunday morning. Coffee was fine but nothing special, Latte tasted mostly of milk and unmemorable beans.

I got unlucky with my barista today: 1) no steam wand cleaning 2) milk jug was not rinsed or cleaned in between drinks leading to cross contamination of milk. 3) this barista does not know how to pour milk for latte art

Cute place! We stumbled upon this coffee shop after grabbing bagels close by. We got a cold brew and mocha. Both were pretty good, the ambiance was cute, loved the street side seating and the service was good.

How to take all nuance and flavor out of a coffee bean? Roast it to an inch of its life. That's what these folks do. Horribly over-roasted bitter coffee. Go for the food.

Popular outdoor hangout with excellent coffee beans. Locals swear by this being the best of the four nearby. Not a lapbook insight!

The toast with poached eggs is really good! I’d definitely recommend it for lunch. There’s seating available inside and outside, as well as a take out window.

My group purchased 4 coffee drinks from Cole. We had bagels from another vendor nearby. Employee asked us to leave because they did not want to clean up after the bagels even though they sell bagels. Absolutely horrible service. Don’t treat your customers like 5 year olds.

Friendly and quick service. Not that expensive compared to LA. $17 for a pound of beans roasted within the week. They use a custom blend from the McLaughlin roaster in Emeryville.
