Don't waste your time. I went to the Berkeley location because it had the most reviews and not only was there was hardly any selection, but day old cupcakes were still being sold. Finding parking is a nightmare. I think if I try Cupcakin Bake Shop again I'll go another location like maybe Walnut Creek

My family stumbled upon this little cupcake shop in Berkeley while on a day trip. There is a good assortment of decadent cupcakes to be had. We tried two (cookies and cream and the red velvet )and they were magnificent! I highly recommend! The shop is small with no sit down options so you must take your treats to go.

Lovely for parties. Ordered nearly 3 dozen cupcakes of all varities. Website made it easy, clear communication. Showed up, and they were already in boxes with explanation by staff of contents and included extra boxes for take-homes. Cupcakes were outstanding, personally loved the key lime (especially crust layer at bottom), but nearly all were top notch. The frosting was perfect, and I generally skip that part on cakes. Defintely would come back to drop by for single serving, or another large party batch.

I've only been to this location once but the cupcakes were really good! I especially like the chocolate cupcakes. They are sweet but it's not an overwhelming sweetness that lingers in the mouth which is what I really like about them. The only downside is that they are a bit pricey but I would recommend trying this spot out if you are ever in the mood for cupcakes.

The Double Chocolate Cupcake is literally the best cupcake I’ve ever had. I’m obsessed!!! I wish they stayed open later so I could come by after work (but maybe it’s better this way for my wallet lol)

I have been to the Berkeley locations. Really cute shops. I love their displays. Clear, well labeled, and so appetizing. Online ordering is very easy and user friendly and pick up was very smooth. Everything is so beautifully decorated, but what really sets them apart are the incredible flavors and quality of ingredients. I picked them up at 6pm the night before the event and refrigerated them. The next day they were excellent. We had 100 of the minis in a variety of flavors at a 70th birthday party and they were the biggest hit ever. Everybody loved the opportunity to choose. With vegan and gluten free options that are equally as delicious you cannot go wrong with this bakery.

This place has the best cupcakes I've ever tasted. My personal favorites are the key lime, lemon, and vanilla salted caramel cupcakes. The crumb is so moist and light and the frosting is never too sweet; it's exactly what I look for in every cupcake I try now since they've set such a high standard! The staff at the Telegraph Ave. location are always so nice and the store is quite cute! Please give their cupcakes a try, you definitely won't regret it :)
