Food portions are big. Ordered a dish with half rice-hald salad and the plate was fullllll. The half sized portions were about the same size as a full size dish in other restaurants.Shish kabob was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The taste was GREAT.The rice smelled and tasted good and the salad ingredients were fresh.Doogh was good as well. The owner greeted guests at all tables and the staff were trying their best to make sure the guests are comfy and have everything they'd like available to them. The only thing that I can say would need improvement was the Mast-Kiyar, the amount of cucumber was not enough for the size of the yogurt bowl and the yogurt texture was a little like hummus (not sure why).If I want to grade this restaurant, it would definitely be between 97-100 out of 100.

First time here today- very good Persian food. Had the combo plate- loveddd it. Roasted eggplant, hummus and tzatziki with soft pita. Tried my cousin’s chicken kabob and rice - very good!!!Our server was helpful and friendly. We had my cousin’s birthday- enjoyed pistachio rose water ice cream!! Yum!! A little sweet but great!!!****just a note- the bathroom was fairly clean, except —- I saw some Black mold on the sink near the faucet, and on the side walls. Just fyiThanks
Amazing all around. Every dish tastes different and unique. All the meat is cooked to perfection. The servers are wonderful.

This is a restaurant with good food. For best Pesian food, you need to go to Maykadeh in San Francisco but this one is not bad so why the one star. The owner has an attitude. We ordered for 75 people for a Christmas party in December. He did not follow the instructions and his own recommendations. So, I called him next day and he did not return the call. Fast forward to today. I go to his restaurant and feel he is hiding from me. After making me wait for 20 minutes, he completely pretends he forgot the order and plays down the size of order as normal everyday occurance for him. When I point out the flaws , he decides not to take my takeout order. Very insulting. He should not be in business with this attitude and I will not go there anymore. Middle East Market on San Pablo for Berkeley or Maykadeh in San Francisco if you want all the food, service and ambiance.

One of the best Persian restaurants in the East Bay. The food was amazing and the staff were professional and super fast. It's a must go restaurant, don't forget the baghlava and tee at the end.
