Love this place!! Such a neighborhood gem. Reasonable prices, super quick service, and consistently delicious burritos and tacos. This place has become one of my top Mexican food places in oakland/berkeley!

Sitting at the park bench at a smog shop on San Pablo, THIS is the gritty, urban, off- Gourmet Gulch affordable and lovingly made $3 taco experience you need to break out of the bubble. Slow simmered marinated chicken with a dollop of grilled onions, cut-up radishes what's not to like? Go there late enough for free side show entertainment! Across the street from this building north of Ashby...

Yum, street tacos are a little small but tasty! I had the carne asada, pastor, and lengua. All were good. Pastor might have been my favorite. My boyfriend had pollo, carne asada, and carnitas and he liked them all but I think he said the asada he liked the most. We were surprised to see that it was empty on a Friday night. Sadly they didn't have horchata that day. It was nice because the truck was located in a parking lot and there was a table set up. It was a cool breezy evening so the food got cold pretty quickly but I still found it really enjoyable. They kindly let us know they were closing and needed to set away the table soon, closing up half an hour earlier than the hours listed (6:30pm instead of 7pm).

This place is great. Some of the best burritos in Berkeley, and I can't get over the pastor super quesadilla. Staff are super nice, and they work fast too. Always worth it if I'm getting lunch down here.

The best taco truck in Berkeley and it rivals ANY other anywhere. The most flavorful meats, properly prepared and quickly served. Fresh and ample sized vegetarian items as well. I get my dog a plain taco each time and they remember that order too!Tables and chairs for waiting and eating and plenty of nearby parking. Friendly folks behind the counter and in the line. Credit cards accepted. It's parked on the SMOG testing lot, 1 block from Ashby Ave.Vegetarian options: Standard fare but higher quality and bigger portions than most other placesKid-friendliness: Plenty of room, as long as you can keep them from running into the streetWheelchair accessibility: Outside, just roll on up!

Just had a lengua taco here - came out super fast with a big slice of lime and nice portion of cooked onion and jalapeño. Terrific food and reasonably priced. Places like this make me love living in the East Bay. El Manantial means the spring or source in Spanish and this place really is a source for some good food.

10/10 burrito absolutely scrumptious completely destroyed by my mouth. It was so moist and juicy and wet I loved it.

I know this is a controversial topic in the Bay, but I've got to say, this unassuming little truck has got to be my favorite spots for tacos. The meat is juicy and full of flavor, the salsa has just the right kick to it, and the grilled onions and jalapenos are the perfect topping. Do yourselves a favor - grab some tacos, walk to San Pablo park, and go ham.

My only regret is being too hungry to take pics but for a food truck, it was so bomb! And when they asked if we wanted everything on it, well, I was low-key shocked and really impressed at how boujee it turned out. My regular asada tacos had some special sour cream thing on it and some GRILLED onions and pepper, and that's on top of the fresh onions and pickled peppers and all. I mean, they gave a fork with my tacos so you know that was loaded Def gonna go back if I'm in the area again.

Got the lengua burrito - very flavorful and tender!Service was quick and pleasant, and San Pablo Park is very close by to enjoy your meal (or there is a table out front of the truck).

It's a taco truck in a gas station parking lot, perfect! I had a fish burrito. And it was completely delicious. The guys in the truck smiled and were pleasant. Oh yeah, and they give chips and salsa in the bag. I didn't know anyone still did that!
