Really wanted to like this place especially after learning it's a family owned business. But IMHO you'll be better off buying from La Mission. Their food is more fresh and has that flavor your taste buds will thank you for. The food here was bland and veggies were soggy and not fresh at all. I am not coming back here again.

Food is decent but very soggy lettuce and rice. Employees ripped me off and did not give me the entire order as it was stated on the menu. After confronting them they refused to give me the chips that were included in my order. Employees seemed unfamiliar with their own menu. Not satisfied with my experience.

I always get the Vegetarian Enchiladas with green sauce and black beans. I often order through Caviar and my food almost always comes piping hot, good condition. The only gripe I have is occasionally they add sour cream when I specifically ask for none, but the enchiladas taste great! Not too soggy and not too dry.

A small place in the Epicurious garden. When I visit a taqueria I always test the quality of the carnitas as a baseline. If they do carnitas well then its always a good sign. And their carnitas is pretty dang good. Get the 5 tacos for 10$ or try their platos. Not such a big fan of their burritos (check out Gordos in Berkeley if you can for burritos) but overall a great local taqueria. Good frescas too. Definitely recommend checking it out

I almost never give a low rating to a restaurant. This is for messing up a take-out order and when I called to let them know about it, the woman tried to put the blame on me. I'll be frequenting other Mexican restaurants in the future.

The hot "Habanero" salsa is HOT. I can't do Siracha but this was still to hot for my wife. I got the Carnitas burrito (no sauce) and it was tasty enough to get me back.

I love this spot! They give marvelous meals, their menu is varied, The chief cook in that place is well trained, I like very much trying all their dishes. The dishes are always fresh and tasty, the attitude towards the clients is good. I often go to this restaurant and I not even once was disappointed. I recommend this place.

I celebrated my nomination last night in this excellent restaurant. I am glad to say that we enjoyed a fabulous evening and the place was clearly the reason for the outstanding meeting. The team collaborated in a very nice way, the cooking was appetizing and my friends were very thrilled. We shall no dout visit again for more joyful events. Thank you very much.

Everything ok the menu sounds good and the locale is very charming. I ordered one of each type of street taco. They were all pretty bland-no flavor or seasoning in mine. The Barbacoa was the best of the three. I should try using some hot sauce not time to spice it up, but I was sharing with my wife who is spice-averse.

Carnitas burrito with guacamole and the red sauce was really flavorful. My boyfriend ordered the chicken quesadilla with guacamole and Mexican crema. He wasn't as happy with his choice. I think my choice was the solid one in this scenario and I am very happy that they are walking distance from my house. Will be trying other items on the menu.

Fun name and yummy food. I have had several items here but the best would be the pineapple variation. The quesadillas are really good but they tend to be greasy. The helpings are quite​ large and they have a​ mini-fridge​​​ off to the side full of different salsas. The green salsa is really good. I usually ask for extra cheese to help soak up some of the greases​. Would recommend​ if you are in the area and want Hispanic​ foods.
