Gypsy's Trattoria Italiana at UC Berkeley is a total win! Always hit them up for their lasagna or Godfather pasta - never disappoints. Fresh, fast, and oh-so-good. Bummed they stopped Uber Eats to my area, but still worth the trip. Also, check out the pool hall across the street. Solid gold!

My friend and I were famished, we needed a quick meal, we were there just before the dinner rush so we got a table immediately. The place is very popular, the food is fresh, the serving sizes are generous and very reasonably priced. I had a pizza-salad-soda combo and my friend had a veggie pasta dish. Both were very satisfying. The location is central to the university part of Berkeley and I enjoyed the bustling energy around.

First time going here today. The food was actually pretty good. I would definitely go back here again.
Pasta is always a go. I did not like their pizza or calzone unfortunately though, waste of money. The insides of calzones the protein is absolutely not seasoned and the pizza is kind of an elevated digiorno tbh . The pizza was not fully cooked through too many toppings and they also did not cook the vegetables on the pizza which was interesting. They cooked the pizza then put the vegetables after which definitely was unpleasant. BUT.... I've been several times for pasta and they have never failed me so I will definitely be back

It stayed busy the entire time we were there. It's a small spot. I'm not a big pasta eater so you might want to take my review with a grain of salt. The food wasn't bad but it wasn't AMAZING... but that's just me AGAIN I'm not a pasta lover. The portions were big and I enjoyed my salad. The service was ok.One other thing just putting cloves of garlic on bread doesn't make it garlic bread ??I scraped it off....Parking: It's a congested area with paid street parking

Very convenient location to the UC Berkeley campus for students - I ordered the Fettucine al Salmon. When you get it to go I think that the portion is slightly smaller than if you stay at the restaurant due to the to go box size. Still a really generous pasta portion size.Delicious meal every time, very nice cooks and servers. Casual dining location. Paying with card adds a buck onto your meal price.
