Cute little dessert shop in Downtown Berkeley with so many yummy mango desserts! We got the Pomelo and Mango with Sago (most popular drink) and the flavor is not too sweet and the texture is so unique. The mango also tastes very fresh. Will come again to try other drinks and desserts!

Love the decor. It's a cozy small spot but has so much yummy desserts. I want to try every thing but I end up getting the new item. Taro/mochi dessert( black sticky rice and sago on the bottom covered with taro /mochi paste and mochi balls) 5/5 Will definitely come back to to try the other desserts.

i eat this everyday my favorite is the coconut mango until i got tired of it after eating it everyday for a week so i went back to the original ones instead!! i love this place it's a solid 10/10 i would recommend it for anyone who likes to eat "healthier" sweets since it's not too sweet :)

This is a great place for authentic Hong Kong taste dessert. There are not many seats inside - one small table and some bar seats, so best to go in a group of 2-3 people or get things to go. iPad ordering is available. Their specialty is mango, but they also have glutinous rice balls, black sesame, and purple rice porridges. The mango is tangy and not too sweet.

This is dessert spot for you Mango Lovers. Shit I can't complain, mango is sweet and delicious. They have another location in Cupertino and that spot is usually busy with a long wait time only because they have indoor seating and more space to seat more people. This location in Berkeley is small but can still fit few people. My first time visiting this place and I enjoyed it. Mango was ripe and sweet, no bitterness. I ordered the mango romance. It was 3 small cup dishes, filled with mochi balls, mango pudding, and slices of mango with a mango mochi ball. Street parking will be hard as this is located by Durant Avenue, known to be a busy area. I'd come to back to try the rest.

if you are a big fan of MANGO, then this spot is a must try. The drinks are not too sweet and just the right amount of mango flavor. I have been here only one time and I would be lying if i said that i do not think about this place when my mango cravings hit. i have had the mango aloe drink and it is super refreshing! I want to say that though they call it "aloe" it really translates to pandan. When you have mango, pandan and coconut together, then you know it is a win win situation. the fall back on my end is that i would have to cross the bay bridge for this treat. But if you are on that side of the bridge, consider visiting this place at least once. Parking can be scarce here so keep that in mine. the spot is tiny so it would help to drop someone off while the other person finds parking. ( worth it tho)

This is hands down one of my favorite dessert spots in Berkeley. It's located in a relative unassuming spot just off Bancroft and right next to U-Cha. It's walkable from campus and just a small walk away from the Bancroft bus stops! The storefront is cutely decorated with replicas of their desserts in the window and paper decorations all over the ceiling. There's minimal seating, which isn't a problem during the day but it can get a little busier at night so plan to get your desserts for takeout if you go at a later time. Service is quick and easy with the Snackpass app or the order kiosk in the front. The desserts never take more than 5 minutes to come out and they're always fresh! I'm a massive fan of the Pomelo and Mango with Sago (D3), but I've tried their mango and aloe drink as well. They're always so refreshing and delicious. I would come here a few times a week if I could.Hui Lau Shan is a great dessert and drink spot for anyone who loves mangos and Hong Kong-style desserts! Give it a try next time you're near campus; you'll love it :)

This is my first time having Hui Lau Shan at this location and it was on par with the times I've tried it in SoCal. I got the mango and coconut sago. The fruit was really fresh and the overall drink was refreshing and satisfying for a hot day. I ordered on snackpass. The drinks are stored in a fridge when ready and a staff will grab it for you. This is a nice touch since most other drink places will leave snackpass orders on the counter. My drink was still nice and cold even though I arrived a couple minutes after my order was ready.

I was excited when I found out that a Hui Lau Shan existed in Berkeley. I've been to the one in the South Bay and was very impressed with their desserts, so we decided to give this spot a try. We came on a Tuesday around 7:30pm and there wasn't a line. It is a very small store with minimal sit down space. We decided to order the Pomelo & Mango with Sago and Mango Romance. Sago is my go-to Asian dessert because of its texture and that is one of my favorite items there. I thought the Mango Romance was unique because we were able to try the different items on their menu in small portions. The mangos were fresh and soft. Best dessert right after dinner!

Mmm mmm mangooo! We tried 2 desserts and both were amazing! The mango was so fresh, coconut milk was creamy and flavorful, and red bean was the prefect consistency.Service was very speedy. Probably waited 3mins lol. They closed the back part of the shop, and the front had some seating but was a bit cramped.Overall though, this mango dessert was out of this world and I'd come back to try all the different items.
