This place was good, I dove in before taking a photo of my burger. Maybe I was hungry. I would recommend requesting extra bacon jam for your burger. It was a little on the dry side and it was good. Any burger with gouda cheese is a burger for me. The waitress was really nice, she seemed new only because she was taking orders from another waitress. She was attentive to us and checked in multiple times to see how we were doing. The Wood Burger was. $18 and came with fries. They also serve pizza so this place has plenty of options for everyone. They have a TV in the back where you can probably watch the game and plenty of bar seats with tons of cocktail options. Come early there are only 17 tables in the restaurant. I would come back if I came to Berkeley.

Had a lamb burger the first time I came here. It was okay, but not worth the price. Stick to Mediterranean if you want good lamb dishes.

my friends and I️ went in for some appetizers tonight and somehow walked out with a bill that came out to be $100?! we were charged an extra $15 for "large party". in literally WHAT world are four people a "large party"? thats the most absurd thing, get a grip of reality. would not recommend to ANYONE!

Service is really warm and attentive. Great for kids, even though they don’t officially have a kids menu. Outside patio seating is comfortable and has heaters. Solid food and drinks, too! We’ll be back soon!

We had a delicious lunch here yesterday. There is parking directly behind the restaurant, lots of outdoor seating and a menu that had something for everyone and MORE!Our server, Alexandra was delightful, thank you.
Our first time eating here, nice variety of items on their Brunch menu. The Berkeley Benedict was delicious and the home fries the best I've had! Small, cubed pieces, cheese? crispy outside and potato flavor.We went back the following Sunday and tried a couple different items from the Brunch Menu, In The Wood Omelet and the Avocado Toast since they were out of the Beyond Burger patties. The "Three egg" omelet was pretty puny! I'm guessing they were Quail eggs? Avocado Toast was meager as well!I think that was our last visit:-((

Update: I really want to like this place, came today for a second-chance visit. I won't be back. Visited on a Friday at around 4PM. The bathroom was filthy - dried pee spray on the toilet seat, balled-up damp paper towels & TP on the floor. If it was 10PM on a weekend, then sure, that's what bathrooms look like for spots with a full bar - but 4PM on a weekday?I ordered the seared tuna salad with no onions and no bacon. It took awhile to come out - for me, it seemed like a very long time given how many diners were in the restaurant and on the patio. When it did come out, it had onions. The tuna was too old to be served. It had old-fish smell and taste.As before, the servers were lovely ... the servers seem to be the best thing about this place.

Came by on a Friday evening with some friends and had a good time!I ordered the salmon sandwich, and I was pleasantly surprised by the juiciness of the salmon. Very delicious, and it was definitely a salmon cooked right. The fries were soggier than expected, but the salmon sandwich made the dining experience worth it. Also kudos to the server we had-- she was so friendly and we loved interacting with her.Overall, pretty solid sandwich and great service!
