Oui oui - can this place please be open more often??????I'm obsessed! These are some of the best bakery treats in the whole Bay Area. Delicious. The croissants are absolute perfection. I see why they have a solid five star rating. We stumbled upon this place by accident while on our way to the hipster bakery around the block. I found myself questioning whether or not we needed to get food from both bakeries, but I am here to say that I am so happy we did! Everything was so. dang. tasty. I'm still reeling from how good it was. This quickly became my go-to bakery! They have a bunch of unique items that aren't typically seen anywhere else near here. Now y'all, I'm sure we can all agree... How can we petition them to be open more often? I can't survive on just once a week!
Very disappointed with their customer service. Tried to order and used their order form on their website. Their website indicates that it might take up to 24 hours for them to answer but it has been 3 days now and I still haven't gotten an email from them. What a way to do business!
It's a great local pastry spot in Berkeley. If you're ever in the area, I'd recommend giving this a go. Shame it's only open during Wed/Saturday in their brick and mortar location, though. At the end of the day, my peasant pallet cannot begin to fathom how great the texture and flavor compliments are for the pastries served here, but my girlfriend often raves about how good it is, so I take her word for it.5/5 - I come weekly to support local.
Beautiful and delicious pastries of the highest order.
Came across their booth at the Berkeley farmers market. Best pastries in the Bay Area! Better than some of the well known established bakeries, so I'm confused as to why this place isn't more well known! Literally everything was delicious, highly recommend, the guy who ran the booth was super friendly too! Made my day :) and my tummy was very happy too! Wish they did Uber eats or doordash because I'd love to order from them everyday !
Amazing pastries.. thank you thank you thank you!!! My favorite is pistachio & strawberry croissant!!!
Great croissants! Very friendly service, all the baked goods we've tried from here have been very tasty. Worth the wait in line.
La Noisette is amazing! If you get there early enough to see the wide selection because they sell out really fast! The strawberry pistachio croissant and hazelnut chocolate croissant are to die for! A staple in Berkeley
A wide selection of rich laminated pastries, both sweet and savory. The chocolate croissant, croque madam, and chocolate twist were all delicious. Probably can't go wrong with any of their creations.
Absolutely the best French pastries that I've had in the Bay Area!
So so delicious! The pistachio strawberry croissant is worth the hype, as are the caneles (honestly the best I've tried). They've got a lot of options, including inventive danishes (tiramisu! coconut!), financiers, and a few savory things. Prices are on the more reasonable end for Bay Area French pastries - it's just a bit cheaper than comparable bakeries in SF. Heads up it's a tiny store and they only allow one customer/party in at a time due to the pandemic, so sometimes there's a line. Well worth the wait.
This place is sooo damn good and so dangerous to my waistline, but I don't care! Alain is a magical baker! My favorite pastry is the strawberry pistachio croissant! Definitely my go to.
Serendipity: stopped by Third Culture at 9:15 AM, not open yet, but discovered La Noisette around the corner where I parked - holy moly! Pistachio croissant and a hazelnut croissant and a Philz coffee , my life is now complete.Thank you Alain.
Nice variety of pastries. Excellent customer service. Try their "Not your mammas pudding".
A magical place, they could charge for walking near the door given how amazing it smells. Friendly, patient staff, and an amazing chef.Try the strawberry pistachio croissant, and the Maldon chocolate chip cookies - also don't miss out on the savory treats!
