This is a modern and casual dining Thai restaurant with affordable price that provides various appetizers, soup, chef's recommended menu, salad, barbecue, noodle, curry, wok, along with alcholic and non alcoholic drinks. We were here to have a dinner with a friend who is a university student here, so that this place is suitable for the students. We tried Panang Nua for $15.95 as one of the chef's re commended menu here. A plate of white rice with the tender beef, Thai chili, coconut milk, peanut sauce, basil, zucchini, green bean, red bell in a thick sweet and savory curry sauce. For the drink, my friend recommended Singha Thai Beer. This was my first time having this Thai beer, and I could say that Singha is good! It's not bitter, but not overly sweet.

I think we may have found one of the best places to get Thai food in Berkeley! Little Plearn sure was little, but all tables were constantly full throughout our visit - which is great considering it was a week night and pouring rain! Service was great, the dishes were packed with flavor, and prices are very reasonable for the portions given. I highly recommend adding this place to your list if you're in the mood for Thai food!* Beef Pad See Ew* Chicken Pad Thai* Curry Puff* Panang Nua* Chicken Satay* Chicken Rad Na* Papaya Salad* Beef Tom Yum (large)* Spicy Fried Rice* Pork Red Curry* Chicken Yellow Curry* Garlic Wok w/ Crispy Pork Belly* Spicy Wings* Ginger Sole* Mango Sticky Rice* Drinks: Thai Tea, Vietnamese Iced Coffee, Sunrise Mocktail, & Mint Mojito

food was pretty mid. curry noodle soup was good, the peanut broccoli dish wasn’t very good. and the plain white rice itself wasn’t that good. tables were a bit cramped. also there was a weird gas burner smell when we went in. to me it was rlly strong but my dad didn’t notice it.mango sticky rice was good tho

Visited with my family on a Tuesday night and surprisingly the restaurant was packed. We thought all the dishes tasted incredibly delicious and authentic, with the prices being reasonable. For appetizers, we indulged in curry puffs, satay chicken (served with peanut sauce), and fried spring rolls. Moving on to the entrees, we savored their rich and creamy yellow chicken curry, flavorful pad see ew with tofu, mild spicy fried rice, and the chef's recommendation— the Moo Dang dry noodle which turned out to be my favorite.Following our satisfying meal, our desserts arrived. We opted for the classic mango sticky rice and their Valentine's special dessert— strawberry mochi ice cream with strawberry whipped cream! Heaven for strawberry lovers. The service was very welcoming, attentive and friendly. The interior was full of beautiful Valentine's decorations, such as cute hearts! They even featured a love month menu with special drinks such as their Love Potion and Love is In The Air.In conclusion, I highly recommend this place. This restaurant gives cozy and lovely vibes, making it an ideal choice for a special Valentines day dining experience!

My wife and myself had lunch today. Nice clean place. Staff was courteous and quick. Food tasted so good. I think it was one of the best Thai food I have tasted in the Bay Area. Would love to go again.
The best part is that the dishes aren't too sweet. So many Thai places load up their dishes with so much sugar, but Little Plearn is much more balanced and relies on quality ingredients and flavorful spices rather than just a sugar bomb. One thing is that their curries are pretty spicy. I love it, but my wife can't handle it. Wish they offered a spice level choice on Uber EatsHighly recommend the curry noodle soup or the pumpkin curry.
