I really recommend this place! The people are very nice and the food is also super affordable and delicious. I recommend getting the duck and pork noodles and the baked Portuguese chicken. I get it every time and they don't disappoint. The only problem is that they could maybe do with some remodeling but it isn't necessarily dirty, just old. Tl;Dr I recommend

Good food for the price and a big selection of menu items. Sometimes can take a while when they are busy (I've waited maybe 10-15 mins when there's a lot of orders) - so if you're in a to-go rush, call ahead.

I went the other day and it was great considering I hadn't been there in two years. I was fond of their quick service as I was the first time around. Also, concerning the pandemic, I presume they are following guidelines based off of the appearance (tidiness) of the restaurant. Highly recommend!

This place is amazing. We have been eating here for about 3 years at least once or twice a week.

Where to start.. box leaked as soon as removed from the bag, chow mein tasted burned and pot stickers tasted undercooked, I’ve had Panda Express that was more pleasant. Do not know why the wait was so long to prepare, but I do know next time I’ll wait to eat somewhere else.

Best Chinese food in Berkeley !!! Fresh cooked on order. My favorite is Singapore noodles made perfect highly recommended if you like noodles fried rice. Shrimp fried rice is really good aswell. Today I had for lunch I had Szechuan chicken and I believe it's the best I've ever had!! Excited to try other food from lotus.

I have a very high suspicion that the food served here is not sanitary. I bought two wonton noodle soups. My stomach was upset after I ate it. And my friend threw up. Definitely not going back here anymore.

Steer clear of Lotus House! I came here excited to try their Hong Kong baked dishes and was hoping that Lotus House would become my go to spot for baked dishes. Unfortunately, my experience fell short. I ordered the Baked Seafood Rice. At first glance, I already knew that it was only downhill from there on out. While all of the other Hong Kong cafes I've been to have served their baked dishes in some sort of bowl, I simply got a white goop served in aluminum foil. While it was already a horrible first impression, I held onto some hope that it would taste good. Many, I was sooo wrong. The sauce was bland and lacked any seasoning. The seafood included was clearly frozen and was unevenly cooked. Furthermore, there were bits of hair within the dish itself. I was only able to finish half of it before my sense were destroyed. I was thoroughly disappointed by Lotus House. However, the reason why I gave it 2 stars is because their customer service was fine. In the future, I will be coming back to try their more traditional chinese dishes and will provide an update.
This place is a good place to stop for a quick lunch, since it usually isn't too crowded and the food comes out pretty quickly. They have a huge selection of dishes from the menu, so definitely take your time to look through! The interior isn't really fancy, but it is clean and they have a decent number of tables. The prices are pretty affordable here, and the portion sizes are actually big! I've had the Mongolian beef here along with the shrimp and scrambled egg dish; both dishes were decent and were big enough for me. It's not the highest quality but it is worth the price for the amount you get! It's a nice place to check out, although there definitely are better Asian food places around here.

This place is clearly one of the most attractive restaurants in the region. Anytime I visit this place I am very happy. They maintain their high level service and the highest level of dishes they offer. You are always happy with this place. Very recommended.

After four years of living in Berkeley, I finally gave Lotus House a try! I had always peeked in and thought that the interior was extremely small, but they actually have a larger seating area in back that is hard to spot from the outside. This is a good place to eat with smaller groups since the tables are pretty small. The menu had a large selection of noodles, meats, and veggies. Customers order and pick up their dishes at the front counter. [ Beef Lo Mein ] The noodles were served on a big circular plate and the portion size looked huge. However, I was able to finish the entire plate in one sitting. Not sure if I was extra hungry that day...The noodles were flavorful and soft. The beef was also cooked to a nice and tender texture. I enjoyed the blend of veggies!
