First time trying this place and loved it! We ordered the Tan Tan bowl and it was so good. It wasn’t too spicy and the flavors were spot on. The bowls run around $12 which is reasonably priced for what you get. We also tried the teriyaki chicken bowl, gyoza, matcha iced tea, and the mango soda which was also very good. Plenty of seating inside and outside. We will be back to try more!

This place is great / it is what it is - DELICIOUS relatively "healthy" food - way better option than American fast food in that way, is what I mean. So yum. Lovely staff, I wish they had alcohol personally, but also appreciate that they don't.

Friendly service and yummy udon! Huge portions at a price you can't beat. Massive variety of deep-fried meats and veggies you can choose from as well. Also, wide selection of soup flavors and add-ons. The best comfort food for a rainy day in Berkeley! Easy takeout.
When i first came here I was excited to try it. After eating their known for udon, I wasn't impressed at all. I think it just was alright. Pricing was kinda expensive too but okay.
It might be that I've had high expectations for this place but $15 for a bowl of noodles should have tasted better. The noodles tasted like they've been sitting in the boiling water for too long - the udon didn't have the signature bite expected from it. Also, the disparity between meat and sanuki udon prices is quite large, when the meat udon dish did not provide much meat.
