A new coffee spot in Downtown Berkeley. I love a lot of things about it. It's in a perfect location on the way to the BART station, they have lovely staff and they also serve a wonderful selection of chais that are much more akin to the chai you get in India. I'll be going here often!

Modern Coffee fourth location is located below the brand new center street parking garage across from bike station. I've heard from my Berkeley neighbor that MC was to debut somewhere in Berkeley we just don't know where yet. On this night I drove by looking for possible street parking. For such a small coffee stand, this place has so many drink options/customizations - in addition to all drinks being available iced, there is also a seasonal menu, alternative milk, and add-ons. You also save 10c if you bring your own cup, and I'm pretty sure they'll fill it up all the way if you pay for a small (that happened to me; I was charged for a small despite having an 18 oz cup).
