I've been here many times in the past. It's so awful I am writing a bad review years later. The owner is really terrible and called the cops on people for no reason to have them booted. He was rude to my pregnant friend ordering soda and also to my female friend who was wearing a head scarf - he barked at her to take it off or he wouldn't serve her. Used to be a huge coke den too.

This place has some great wah. The ceiling is covered with those bamboo beach mats so you feel like you're in a hut on Gilligan's Island. They have a few nice, brightly colored African paintings and masks on the walls. The staff is very friendly.

Nick's is a great place to meet new people or go with a bunch of frIend.i love it.The owner is also one of the nicest people I know...Drinks are affordable,the neighborhood is easy to i get in and out of as well The also take reservations!!!!!

Brian, the owner of the bar, very rude. He was unprofessional and aggressive. We were intially waiting for our friend to order a drink while we looked over songs and he approached us in an agressive manner.
