The soup was plentiful, with good flavors. It was a true lunch sized meal.

Cute ambiance but the food was not good. Noodles were oily and chicken was rubbery.

Sat down and had food in front of me literally within 5 minutes - I came on a weekday late afternoon so definitely not typical meal times, but WOW that was fast and delicious. Lots of vegetarian options, my soup was delicious + I was there at the right time for lunch happy hour prices!

Nearly D tier Chinese food. Salty, no depth, sparse vegetables. Id expect this for much less, and a cafeteria style restaurant.

Nice restaurant. Plenty of seating. Quiet atmosphere. Delicious food. Plenty of street parking at night.

Not worth the price even though it's reasonable. Items bought were distasteful. Would not recommend. Only thing good was the spice level.

This place is so awesome had no clue that they opened a location in Berkeley, had been going to the other one for some time. Was glad to confirm that both are consistent and delicious in their quality. The portions fantastic and their Taiwan beef noodle is just the thing for a sad cold day. All their plates are great can't really go wrong and love that it's easy to get really great tea.

We stopped by here on a random Saturday for lunch and it was empty. At first, we were hesitant to sit down and try the food, but we decided why not! As soon as we were seated, the waiter promptly brought us menus and asked if we'd like water or hot tea. Their warm demeanor made us feel welcomed and cared for. The restaurant's interior decor added to the enjoyable atmosphere. (4/5) We opted for the beef noodle soup and scallion pancakes, both of which were delectable. The broth boasted a robust blend of spices that provided a burst of flavor in every sip. It enveloped the noodles like a comforting embrace, promising ultimate satisfaction for noodle connoisseurs. Some bites were so tender that they melted in your mouth, while others were a bit chewy. (2/5) At first glance, they looked pretty good. The golden brown color was complemented by specks of scallions. However, after taste testing it, the scallion pancake did not meet expectations. It lacked a flaky texture, was excessively dry, and had minimal flavor. It felt like something was missing.

Food is good. I am from Jiangxi and the Jiangxi noodle did remind me of hometown, less spicy. owner doesn’t seem to be from Jiangxi though. I was a little confused about their language use; I heard them speaking Chinese but they seem to be not understanding me so got me a little worried about the authenticity of the food. Luckily it was delicious!

Excellent food and quick service. Many gluten free options that are clearly marked on the menu, including Hainan curry chicken soup and a bunch of stir frys and chef specials. The coral beauty fish was a really special dish. And the rose tea is outstanding, floral and sweet.Dietary restrictions: About half the menu can be made gluten free and it's listed on menu, knowledgeable staff

My husband and I have been going to this place for about 8 times when writing this review. We love the unadulterated food, clean and spacious environment. The dishes are authentic, the chefs are well trained. I am always surprised at the standard of their food!
