Best acai bowl I've ever had!!! My favorite is the matcha chia! The chia pudding is soooo good. Sweet enough, but not overwhelmingly sweet. The coconut flavor here shines, without that taste of fake coconut. The small is perfect for me, maybe a bit too much still. I've also tried the hunter gatherer which is also good. The acai base is perfect, and you can ask to blend in peanut butter to the base (which my partner always does). Super cute decor and in a nice, hip area. Parking is kinda tough but it'll be worth it!!!
One of the best bowls I've ever had. I got the emerald bowl. And added some extra fruit
Great açaí place- probably the best one that's closest to UC Berkeley campus! Ingredients were so fresh! I got the hunter bowl, and I loved the textures from the cocoa nibs, blueberries, granola, and raw honey. My friend got the gatherer and he enjoyed it as well!
My favorite acai place in Berkeley! I always come for a pick me up. They have an online ordering system so placing your order is super easy and quick. My favorites are the gatherer and hunter bowl. The regular bowl is definitely enough to fill you up but if you decide to get the large, I always freeze my leftovers and then defrost for a couple hours and it still ends up tasting just as good. I'm not a big fan of the matcha chia bowl. I think for me personally the matcha flavor is not as strong as I'd like it to be. But I really recommend this place it's especially a nice togo food for a sit down at a park.
Man, I was never a fan of acai until I came to this place. I thought of acai is a simple smoothie bowl with granola on top, but I love how this spot has the most unique combinations and the toppings are super high quality. You can really tell the difference between this place and say a jamba juice acai bowl. Pro tip: get a large bowl and pay the split charge fee ($1) and you'll get the equivalent of two acai bowls for $15! Definitely a steal compared to the typical $10-12 price point and they do not skimp on toppings on a split bowl! Love that and how easy it is to pick up!
Best acai I have had so far in the East Bay. Love the Hunter with the pb and cocoa nibs. The perfect treat, especially after a workout or hike.
Best place ever! Great costumer service and delicious bowls!!
Palm is such a cute shop with a variety of unique offerings. I ended up going with the matcha chia bowl, which tasted fresh and delicious. The lady working at the counter was also super friendly and answered our questions in a helpful way. The only reason I wouldn't come here more often is that the bowls are quite pricy for the amount of food you get, although that's what you would expect at most acai bowl places.
Wonderfully convenient online ordering and paying in a pandemic for pickup at the cafe door. I am smitten with the hunter bowl and intend to work my way through the menu, the ingredients are together notch and the service always great. I almost don't want to write a review because I want to keep this place line-free, socially distanced of course.
Although my smoothie was tasty, for $10 it was fairly small. The same sentiment goes for the $10 small acai bowl, for the price it's more of a light meal vs a hearty, healthy breakfast. They do have the option for a larger acai bowl which may be a better deal if it's indeed substantially larger. Currently they are only doing acai bowls and smoothies. It's very convenient right on College Ave in a great 'hood and a nice option if in the area looking for a healthy, freshly made option.
I went on a random hunt for an Acai bowl and didn't expect to find this gem. Walked away with 2 L Amazonian bowls and a vitality drink, easily a new loyal customer.
Bowl was tasty but keep in mind they don’t take walk up orders and you need to order online. Expect to wait at least 30 mins for your bowl. If you’re from out of town looking for something healthy I recommend you order super ahead of time and not wait around
I'll have to come back another time- I got there and no customers were there, the sign said you had to order through their website. When I picked ASAP it said it would be 40 min till my order was ready (??).... so I got takeout sushi from the place next door instead.
I came in to get some açai bowls with my boyfriend. Currently, you have to place your online if you go in person to go get the food. But it's so worth it. I got the Matcha bowl my boyfriend got the gatherer bowl. The bowls were honestly humongous and we got so full. I was blown away. The fruit inside was so fresh and I loved the taste of them all. Parking is limited to just the street but it's worth it! I would love to come back here again when I'm in the area!
