This is a pretty solid Peet’s coffee shop - with all the standard items. There are a lot of independent coffee shops in the area that I frequent, but sometimes it’s nice to go to a place that offers all the standard digital / mobile conveniences of being able to order ahead. That is especially true when you have a dog.Additionally, sometimes Peet’s has very solid seasonal offerings - like the Chicken and Waffle sandwich. That needs to come back.

The male barista gave me my drink by sliding it aggressively towards me instead of handing it nicely. I don’t know if he was racist or not but he gave me side eye when I ordered and customized my drink. It was not a complicated one. Starbucks was too far away so I gave this coffee shop a try by ordering my go-to drink: matcha frappe, add 1 pump of white mocha syrup. Starbucks employees would take a more complicated order without complaining. Never come back to this coffee shop even though it’s only 2 mins walk from my house. The matcha frappe tastes watered-down and bland even though I requested more scoops of matcha.

I hate this location! They don’t do their job, rude customer service, drinks take forever! They can’t get it together…unorganized, I was there today and had horrible service! Never again!!!
I love this Peet's location! It was my go-to coffee shop when I was a student at Cal. We stopped by on a recent trip to the Bay Area for a quick coffee break. Service was great and so were the drinks. The hot dark chocolate mocha is AMAZING! Overall I would definitely recommend this Peet's location.

As a regular fan of Peetz Coffee, I was surprised at how horrible the service and drinks were at this location. I purchased a double shot of espresso with water which came only as espresso, seeming more like a single than the double ordered. At first, I didn’t say anything or complain because they seemed busy and honestly I was primarily going there to use the bathroom. A sign posted just next to the bathroom door said a purchase was required for use. The door has a lock requiring a numerical code with a symbol. When I asked the cashier for the code to the door, they gave an impartial code (3578) without the * at the end. The full code is 3578*. After trying the initially incorrect code provided to me and unsuccessfully getting to use the bathroom, I went to stand back in line and ask for the code again. As it became my turn in line, another person walked into the restaurant who had not waited in the line. This new customer asked for the bathroom code and proceeded to use it without purchase and stayed in the bathroom for about 15 minutes in total not making noises like they were using the bathroom, expiring the time on my parking which was costly (like $1.50 for 25 minutes or so). Another employee knocked on the bathroom door asking if everything was alright. The person came out about 5 minutes later. I then used the bathroom which was not surprisingly very dirty and thankfully just had to pee, all in the span of about 30 seconds, rushing because another person was waiting to use the bathroom behind me (the next person seemed to have waited around 3-5 minutes).Parking: The parking nearby there costs too much

Pretty rough Peet's location. Floors are dirty, no power outlets and a musty smell.It's totally fine if you're doing grab and go as the drinks are well-made and tasty, but don't come to this Peet's if you're seeking a cozy, comfortable and clean ambiance.
