Such nice people! Joey specifically was kind and attentive as he made my hand roll. The food is great and he is a wonderful addition to the team.

Food was ok. We ordered the California sushi burrito and the large poke bowl. The sushi burrito was very flavorful. The poke bowl was very skimpy on the fish that we selected especially since it was supposed to be four scoops but it only looked like two, we definitely had way more rice than fish. But overall it was good. Idk if we'd go back but it was tasty

TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!Went here for a quick bite for dinner and had deal with a snooty, negative cashier that clearly did not want to be there. Her name tag said Aviva and she was extremely disrespectful and rude. I took a little bit linger than my girlfriend did to order because I don't eat poke too often and was really impatient with me. The poke itself was mid and the place itself was boring and smelt weird. I'd like to add that the employee "aviva" also mocked me for trying to pay in cash when theres a no cash sign I didn't notice, she tried to make me feel stupid just for ordering food and I hate people like her.

Poke Parlor is hands down my favorite poke place in Berkeley (visited over 20 times according to my Snackpass rewards)! Don't confuse this place with Poke Bar in Sather Lane as this one is much better. I love the variety of options across the menu. To name a few, you can choose blue tortillas or zucchini noodles as a base alongside other more traditional options like sushi rice, brown rice, or mixed greens. There's also an abundance of veggies that you can add to your bowl without extra costs (cucumber, grape tomato, purple cabbage, etc.) You can order on Snackpass for rewards and convenience. I always look forward to ordering poke bowls on Mondays for their "10% off bowl Mondays" (when you order on Snackpass). I appreciate that the bowls include 2 sides for free with options including masago and crab salad, especially since some poke places charge extra for these sides. Pros: -Great variety of options across the menu-Ingredients taste fresh-Ability to order via Snackpass for rewards & convenience -Proximity to UC Berkeley campus Cons:-Little to no seating. Maybe one table or two outside-Sushi burritos were not my favorite. Highly recommend ordering a Poke bowl instead

It isn't too hard to find parking 1 or 2 blocks away, but some streets may be less ideal to walk. The short version: Fresh quality and good portions. Ordering:Order directly with the staff, they do not have forms for you to fill out ahead of time. Good selection of proteins and decent toppings selection. They were out of spicy crab and spicy salmon when I went around 6:15pm on a Friday. Price:They are about $2 pricier than other poke places with the same amount of scoops but they do not charge extra for seared albacore so for me, it evens out. $18.95 for large (4 scoops). Their fish are cubed in larger cubes so I am not sure if you are getting more or less per scoop.Ingredients:I had salmon, spicy tuna, crab salad, and seared albacore. Everything was of good quality and fresh. I like that they cube the tuna for their spicy tuna rather than the usual mashed ones that I do not like. Sauces:They do not have spicy mayo as one of their sauces so I had the habanero aioli which was similar. Also added house shoyu and yuzu ponzu. Sauces are just okay.

They use a lot of the sweet unagi sauce in their poke burritos. One can't taste anything else but the sweet sauce. They are very skimpy on the protein fish. And their bathroom soap dispenser has been broken forever.

After getting off work one night in January 2019, I came south of campus to Poke Parlor to try out something different from what I had when I lived in Hawai'i. Since returning to the mainland in 2015 I have only "had poke" (what I would classify as a poke bowl) once, earlier this year in Washington State. As an intermediate step to trying a poke bowl on the mainland, I decided to go with a spicy tuna poketaco here at Poke Parlor.I placed my order, opting to dine in-restaurant. Starting in 2018, I made it a conscious goal of mine to get more used to dining alone at restaurants. The experience here at Poke Parlor was helped by workers in a good mood and tasty food. I was mindful of the amount of time I spent, not wanting to get in the way of/slow down other customers. The tortilla was soft and did not tear as I ate. The tuna was soft and tender and the seasoning had flavor as well as spice. Pricing was fair at the time. In the prices I have seen advertised for different poke places since eating here, I would say the prices here are on the more competitive side (less expensive). So in hindsight an even better deal.

Ordered on Uber eats for pickup. They accepted the order, but their app crashed and they were very unhelpful and didn’t offer alternatives even though I paid extra for items they didn’t have in stock.

Nice poke bowl with large portions (´・ω・`)You can do half-half for your base, and also need to let them know if you want any specific sides# Small Poke (Spicy tuna & Scottish salmon)

Poke Parlor is my go-to restaurant for poke in Berkeley. Their bowls are packed and very customizable, which fits all of your poke needs. I always get the salmon with their house shouyu sauce, and the quality of their fish is high. However, there are some things to keep in mind when visiting Poke Parlor. Their bowls are quite expensive compared to other poke spots in the area. In addition, I find that their rice can be hit or miss. Sometimes, the rice is perfect, while other days, the rice can be a little soggy. Overall, if you are in the Berkeley area, I would definitely recommend giving Poke Parlor a try!
