I didn't like the cocktail they made me, but if you want simple drinks or beer, it's a nice, lively spot. Lots of college kids, of course, since it's right by UC Berkeley. I like the fire they have indoors, plenty of outdoor seating, too.

Went here on taco tuesday. They had $6 margaritas and the prices for tacos were halved to $2.50 as opposed to the usual $4 (literally CRIMINAL! Jesus…). Subpar “birria tacos” with consomé that tasted literally of boiled potato water. Don’t get them. Asada was fine though a bit dry. But anyway! It’s not about the tacos. It’s about the vibe and the drink although I didn’t like my margarita either… my friend’s pink paloma was good though! I actually do recommend it. Just a quintessential Berkeley undergrad experience and I live for sentimental value.

The classic Berkeley pub is back after rebuilding from a fire. It’s now booming with great indoor and outdoor seating options. Always great beer selection. Super friendly staff.

Great college beer bar with a gorgeous back area. There’s usually plenty of space for larger groups, and they have a very expansive beer menu. The “share” foods are really good — my friends and I have tried the fries, onion rings, buffalo cauliflower, loaded nachos, and chips and guac; all of those were tasty with large portions. The burger was decent but forgettable, which is alright—I don’t think I would go to Raleigh’s for the food, but I would definitely go for a drink. It’s the perfect spot for a happy hour, and the staff is very friendly (I once accidentally left my bag there, and they had tucked it away with a note for me when I came back to get it the next day). It’s quintessential Berkeley, and always a winner with groups!

As I get older, I'm starting to realize that being around large groups of people just isn't my cup of tea. I love people and I'm very social, but being in places with too many people is like sensory overload for me. BUT... college bars are where I bend the rules sometimes. Of course, it's dependent on the bar and my mood. Raleigh's Pub is one of those college bars that doesn't feel like a hipster joint. It's filled with hipsters, but what I adore about this bar is that they have patrons from all walks of life. It's diverse and low key. A great spot to chill at with friends, for casual dates, or even on a solo tip. Since it's a college bar, you'll get to reap the benefits of college prices. Very affordable but not at the expense of quality (at least where the drinks are concerned). They've got a huge open back patio space which is the main attraction, especially when the weather is warm. But inside has its' cozy charm too. They have a ton of beers to choose from and options for the non-brew lovers as well. Lots of TV's for your sports viewing pleasure. The food isn't anything special but it's good. Expect your typical American bar food. I had a blue cheeseburger during my last visit, and it was overcooked but the flavor was still good. Don't come here thinking you're gonna get some gourmet cuisine. Although, you could definitely get a bomb ass salad from right next door (Raleigh's Pub is combined with Mezzo). They will card you after a certain hour when the pub becomes 21+ for the evening. Don't forgot those ID's, folks! They play a stellar mix of music here too. The restrooms are communal abs unisex (everyone shares one sink and mirror). It's very hip and modern here and I like it. Can't forget to mention that the beers are pretty tasty here too. You can purchase a beer flight to sample the goods. All in all, it's a solid spot for a relaxing hangout and a hit amongst the UC Berkeley College students and locals alike.

Turns out Raleigh's is the best spot to hang out at for Taco Tuesday?! With $2.50 street tacos & $6 margs AND the great ambiance, it's pretty hard to beat. They even have flavored margs like lime, mango, and strawberry.I've always loved Raleigh's because they have an extensive beer collection, games outside, and amazing onion rings. I recently discovered Taco Tuesdays and have become even more of a fan. I will say that the service is pretty slow on Tuesday since they're so busy -- some people were waiting for food for 20+ minutes and they even messed up my order a couple times. The meat is also a bit on the drier side, but I still enjoyed my food + margs and time there!

This was my favorite unplanned stop in our recent trip to Berkeley. We were walking through an amazing holiday street market and needed a break. We walked in and it was self seating after ordering from the bar. This place is massive! We were wandering around in awe at the plants and different kinds of seating available. They offer games inside as well. We had so much fun here! Highly recommend the spicy jalepeno pineapple margarita! We didn't have food but I saw some awesome food items being served and want to try it all!

The pub is quite cool, with a nice atmosphere. The place is big and, going in November, a bit cold. The food was good (I took the blue cheese burger and the onion rings, which were crispy), with a nice choice of drinks. Prices are ok.

Rude bartender. Dark haired chick. Caused a scene in front of her whole bar. Never had a bartender yell and flail arms for no reason. Train your staff to provide customer service not attitude.

Please don't attend this place if you are a person of color. random staff will target and harass you in civilian clothing. if you question their intentions they will become aggressive and defensive. this just a simple warning to people of color, especially black and latinos. this is very serious issue

Great spot to hang out or to host an event. Nice drinks and food and a great easy vibe.Wheelchair accessibility: It's street level and the garden in the back has a ramp so almost all the space is wheelchair accessible.

Taco Tuesday is a great deal! It was difficult ordering just from the bartenders inside with such a large inside and patio area, there were a lot of people and not a lot of bartenders.

Can’t believe I only just found this place. As soon as you walk in the ambience is superb. The place is massive with loads of different indoor and outdoor areas. Food was on the top end of pub food but massive portions and the beer list was impressive for being in the middle of college town! Highly rated spot, oh and the staff are hella friendly.
